Tulum, Mexico is famous for its Mayan ruins, the Playa Paraiso white sand beach, world class diving, cenotes, the sian kaan, and endless tourist attractions. Part of what makes Tulum so special is that the ocean front real estate is all protected by National Park status so development is limited, this ensures that it will be preserved today and for future generations.

Our vacation complex is located in the La Valeta neighbourhood. It’s peaceful and pretty and a short 10 min walk to town.

The space
This 1 bedroom apartment is one of 12 units in this vacation complex. Each suite has a private bathroom, a living room and a kitchen. There is a queen bed in the master bedroom so you can rest easy after a full day of soaking up the tropical sun. There is a futon sofa that can easily be converted to accommodate additional guests. There is a cozy table, an island, a full size fridge and a stove with an oven. The garden is lush and laden with beautiful plants surrounding a very nice pool. We provide purified bottled drinking water at no charge. Other apartment amenities include beach towels, a hair dryer, optional playpen for babies, hot water, and a security safe.
Bike or car rental service is available in town as well as personal laundry services.

Guest access
Our guests have access to the common area, BBQ grill, the pool, palapa covered outdoor tables, internet, bottled water and our WIFI.

Other things to note
Tulum is known internationally for it's white sand public beach. It is protected by national park status and development is very limited to ensure it's integrity for all. That in mind, most services aren't on the beach but are in town. That's why the location of these apartments is so good. It's quiet, peaceful, tucked in the jungle and only a 10 min walk to town. The beach is more of an excursion - as often as you want by cab (about 7 mins) or by bike rental (about 25 min ride). A favourite restaurant is El Camello which is a fantastic seafood restaurant. Another favourite is Kanich, a Yucatan Cuisine which is very good and inexpensive. Tulum's culinary excellence is one of it's biggest draws.
For the folks seeking adventure, there are some must see and do things that are either free or very inexpensive. Start with swimming with the Giant Turtles in Akumal. There is the Canal float trip at Muyil, canals built by the Mayans across the Lagoon to the ocean. And if you enjoy swimming in the beautiful cenotes there is one only minutes from Casa di Guadalupe - Cenote Crystal and costs only 50 pesos as entrance.
