The unit was very clean and was a very friendly space. There were some complimentary snacks, suggestions of places to visit in the neighbourhood, as well as some interesting history about the home.

Stylish and historical apartment! I stayed in this apt for 2 month. The room was comfortable and the security was also good. A manual for this apt was helpful. Kitchen utensils were sufficient. Justin was very kind, he responded my questions promptly. Lawrenceville has excellent shops for example a beer shop, ramen shop and so on. I really enjoyed! Thank you very much!

Quiet and affordable place near some cool neighborhoods. Parking is easy once you get the hang of Pittsburgh's layout. Note that entry to the apartment is via a shared hallway with other units, and the bathroom is actually outside the attic studio apartment - however, this was not an issue as we did not have any run-ins with others staying there throughout the weekend. John left great instructions, as well as some snacks! Would definitely stay again.

Great place for a quick stay. Walkable to lots of restaurants and bars, and a laundromat. Recommend for a stay in Pittsburgh!

This was a nice apartment at a great price. It's a studio but has everything two people might need. The apartment had easy parking, but I didn't receive any information about check in until after I was already parked on the street and entering the building. This wouldn't be an issue except for the parking ticket I ended up getting due to some poor signage. I really could have used that check in information earlier so that I could read through (since it is a several page pdf). We stayed in the apartment for a week and it was great as a home base. The only knock against it was that the bathroom is strangely separated from the apartment, so you have to leave into a hallway/stairway to go to the bathroom. No one else used the bathroom, so it was still private. The main issue was that there was no A/C in the bathroom or hallway like there was in the apartment. This meant that it was usually 82-89 degrees (and humid) in the bathroom, which just wasn't that fun. If you're okay with that (or it's not summer), then the apartment would be a great place to stay.

I swear to you, my girlfriend proclaimed this in a text message to me when we were reminiscing about our trip: I'd mainly like to convey appreciation for the impressive consideration that the hosts displayed in their arrangement of the place as a base for a longer-term exploration of Pittsburgh. But also their use of space is just extremely functional and aesthetically pleasing. The location of the apartment is in the heart of Lawrenceville, and it is an ideal jumping off place for exploring the city. To top it off, the host guy was very responsive and accomodating of our desire to leave things in the fridge in advance of our check in. For the nightly cost, it's just an extremely high value!

I live in between two cities Berlin and Pittsburgh, both have my heart. I have an old house in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh, that I'm sure you'll love to visit. Other fun bits of trivia about me include having a degree in metal sculpture and art history, being obsessed with b…
