**We want you to know that we are following the CDC recommendations concerning coronavirus (COVID-19) and have revisited our cleaning and disinfecting routine to protect our guests.** Hi. I'm Gerron along with my wife Nina own the remains of a 1900 historic farmstead in San Antonio we call "Ione Farm." We fell in love with the farm the moment we set eyes on the property. One of the units, " The Chicken House" is a charming studio layout with a kitchen. San Antonio permit number: 2019-0166

The space
The kitchen is equipped with cookware, silverware, dishes, cups etc. to create light meals. A stove, refrigerator, sink are incorporated into the farmhouse look. The whole unit has been remodeled recently. It contains many details that are one of a kind, created, and executed by myself and my wife. You will find a smoke alarm, fire extinguisher, and basic first aid kit. Also available in the unit is an iron, ironing board, and a full mirror. Coffee, tea, and water will be provided. We have off-street parking.

Guest access
The Chicken House guesthouse and outdoor space near the historic windmill and wash house are private spaces for you to enjoy. You are welcome to explore the historic farmstead.

We both were raised on a farm. I grew up in North California, in Napa valley and Nina in Mexico. We both work together to return the farmstead back to what it looked like at the beginning of the 20th century. I have been working for 50th years as a preservation architect. Nina work includes gardening and establishing a urban forest on our property to benefit birds and pollinators.

During your stay
One of the reasons we are making the farm open to Airbnb guests is to give you'll a window into early 20th-century farm life.

This is probably my last major project, having professionally restoring historic structures since 1970. We live and work on the farm on a daily basis but still are a long ways from completing our goals.
