We had a great experience with our stay at the Eldsto Art Cafe guesthouse. Helga was a very accommodating host and had everything ready for us when we arrived. The room was exactly as pictured, and the common spaces were very well stocked. Staying in Hvolsvollur was a great choic…

We had a nice time in Helgas guest house. Everything was very clean and the room was easy to access per the directions we were given. The room was large enough for 3 girls and all our belongings however the shared space was quite small as there was another group of 3 staying. I c…

Thank you Lauren, it´s because the shared space is not to big, that we don´t allow any cooking in the high season and guests have breakfast and dinner in our Café then. Only in low season time guests are allowed to cook in the guesthouse. Also guest often stay only for one night or max 4 nights. Hope you liked it anyway. Kind regards - Helga

Very easy to communicate with, fast response, and very helpful. Really nice clean place. The kitchen was definitely a bonus! (grocery store right down the street) Wish we could have stayed more than one night.

Convenient location. Even though the listing said it was possibly noisy, we had no issues. The host provided coffee, tea, yogurt, and fruit. I e found that to be rare at Airbnb’s, so it was a great treat for us. Super clean, too. Definitely recommend it.

This is a great little spot that was one of our favorite places on our trip. The room is in a guesthouse attached to the cafe, which has great food. We had a great time looking at all of the beautiful pottery on display and met several other people traveling through the area. The…
