Kota is a perfect host, always available for every question. The room is very nice, and the location is quiet (close to many famous temples in the north of the city). The location is not very central, but it's well connected by bus to the city downtown (around half an hour). You can also use the bikes that Kota provides for free, biking in Kyoto is very easy, but not parking :) Recommended!

Very comfortable japanese tatami room, situated in a convenient area but sometimes at night the vehicles might be a bit noisy, but anyway this place is very recommended. And btw Mr Kota is very handsome and sooo warm.

A lovely place to stay, with fast WiFi, a good shower, a comfortable futon to sleep on, and a small kitchen area in the flat. Toilet is shared and down some stairs, can be cold so good to wrap up if you use it in the night. Check in was easy and there was a lockbox if you need to arrive late or leave early. Would recommend!

The room is spacious and gracious and also beds were comfortable. There is a speed Wi-Fi (not portable), a little but provided kitchen and il general our stay was pleasant. unfortunately se hai difficulty to find the house but the ost was very avaiable and generous and he found us when we didn't find the house. We also drunk beer and sake together in a bar and he was really pleasant. the only discomfort was that our room was at the second floor but the bath room at the first floor. We had a good experience at hall.

Hello, this is Kota.

I studied English in University and through many friends from foreign country. I lived in Toronto for a year in 2007. I was a hotdog vender on the street and also busking as a musician.

Now I lived in Kyoto city for more than 10 years.
My area is famous for Daitokuji temple, Kinkakuji temple(Golden temple), Funaoka onsen(famous public bath) and so on. It is located in the north area where is calm and has nice and chilled Kyoto atmosphere.

I am interested in Music, Art, Movies, Food , Traveling or any entertainment.
