Alex was pleasant and generally the pictures were accurate and the location was good. During rush hour the road is busy and quite noisy but once windows were closed it was fine. The bed was comfy and good size but some decent pillows would make it great. The shower was very tight to get in and a bit mouldy but once in the water was always hot and pressure good. There were quite a few appliances not working/broken including the toilet which Alex did attempt to fix but lasted one flush then back to turning water after every use. Everything was a a bit tired, grubby and greasy a which was a shame after it was the previous reviews that sold us the apartment. Our first experience of Airbnb has not quite left us raving fans but hope it won't put us off trying it again one day.

Alex was a fantastic host, meeting us at the apartment when we arrived and giving us all the information about it. His apartment is lovely with a little balcony. The walk to the centre is about 20 minutes, and half an hour to the train station. There are shops and supermarkets within walking distance. On our last evening we met Alex for a drink and had a lovely evening seeing some great parts of Bologna we hadn't yet explored! Thankyou!

Alex was a great host. His flat is very eclectic - you feel as if you are staying with a friend. His communication before and during was excellent. The building is well located just outside the heart of Bologna - easy walking access to the centre. We had a car and were able to find parking close by during our 3-week stay. The neighbourhood has several shops offering all the amenities you require during your stay. Lots of natural light and great to be able to open the windows and allow a cross breeze. We worried about not having AC in June - but it was not an issue. Washing machine was very helpful, kitchen was well stocked… although a proper chef's knife would have been helpful. Overall, we would recommend this location.

Alex, our host, is very pleasant and kindly gave us information about the neighbourhood and left us some breakfast food. The neighbourhood is quiet, residential and a 15 minute walk to downtown or short and easy bus ride.

If there would be a competition for a perfect host then Alex would have a very big chance of winning. Discreet yet helpful and even dropping us off at the airport when we failed to reserve a taxi. A gentleman! The house was very conveniently located, a short walking distance from the center and the bus stop just around the corner when not in the mood for walking. The house was very quiet, no noisy neighbours and the apt itself was clean, airy and comfortable. It even has a vending machine down stairs for local dairy! Well, in a nutshell, I can't really fault anything. Go see for yourself!

Alex was a great host. Everything went perfect. The apartment is nice and sunny and perfectly located. The neighbourhood has many stores, restaurants and even a great pizza place around the corner. The Piazza maggiore is near and public transportation is great. We had a great time in Bologna.

Alex was a discreet but attentionate and caring host (he had bought us cornetti because I had mentionned I fancied them). He advised us with nice places to go and eat and what to do on Dec 31. We could text him anytime. It was freezing outside but his appartment was warm and cosy. The neighbourhood was very calm and agreable, we used to walk dowtown in 15 to 20 mn. We certainly recommand his place to whoever wants to enjoy the beautiful city of Bologna. We came by car and parked right in front of the building for 6 euros a day and then drove easily to Ravenna and Ferrara which are worth a trip !

Ciao ho trovato un articolo sulla mia rivista preferita ""Valori" che parlava della "Share Economy" e citava anche Airbnb....
Ho pensato questo è il futuro va conosciuto e vissuto in prima persona ;-)
Mi piace quando riesco:
- viaggiare e girare in moto
- ascoltare musica il sabato mattina con un buon caffe profumato e fumante
- la cittadinanza attiva... ovvero per un cambiamento serve che tutti mettano un po' di loro..
