Cozy tiny (12m2) romantic cottage (private entrance and parking space) in the outskirts of Winterswijk-Corle, close to beautiful hiking/biking/riding trails and located on the grounds of a monumental farmhouse. Equipped with all comforts but "basic" in style. Suitable for 1 or 2 people, and for 1 or more days/weeks for rent.
Particularly suitable for people who love peace, nature and are adventurous.
Not suitable for disabled people and children

The space
Cozy tiny romantic "bak" cottage" located in the yard of a monumental farmhouse equipped with every comfort but "basic" so no luxury.
On the ground floor (12m2) there is a cozy dining/sitting area (table with 2 wicker chairs and storage cabinet) and kitchenette with countertop, kitchenware, 2-burner gas stove, kettle, coffee maker and fridge
The height of the sitting/dining area is 175 cm, so some taller people have to bend their heads😘 before they sit down!

If desired, breakfast can be provided for 12.50 euros p.p.p.d.
Vegetarian dinner can also be provided at 57.50 p.p.

The attic has a French window and is accessible via a wooden ladder. Here you can sleep on a good thick double mattress (140 cm wide x 200 cm long) on a slatted base. You can't stand upright in the attic, and from the ladder you can dive right onto the mattress!

The cottage is only heated by a cozy wood stove. Wood is plentiful and included in the price.
There is also a private toilet and shower which can be reached from the outside. It is an extension to the cottage, so door out and door in, and you are in the toilet/shower.

Outside, there is a seating area and you have a view of wildflower fields, horse meadow
and in the distance the Korenburgerveen.

The cottage is not suitable for the disabled and children up to 12 years old

No smoking in the cottage!

Other things to note
The cottage is located on the grounds of a farm. There are 2 dogs and several chickens/roosters present. So you will regularly hear farm sounds such as a cheerful kukeleku! Also in the early morning!!! But if you find this annoying, earplugs are available!! :)
The seating area has a lowered ceiling so that very tall people have to bend their heads!
And due to the wooden staircase to the attic less suitable for the disabled or small children!
You can't stand on the loft.
On the property in the vicinity of the cottage there is another double cottage which is also rented as a B&B/cottage.
Like you, these people are also in peace and privacy.

OUT OF RESPECT FOR NATURE, IT MUST BE ABSOLUTELY QUIET BETWEEN 10:00 P.M. AND 9:00 A.M.!!!

Bicycles can be rented for 10 euros per day.

If you want to use the fire basket outside, we ask 10 euros for a well-filled wood basket.

The cottage is conveniently located close to hiking/biking/equestrian and menus in an extensive nature reserve. You are close to the Korenburgerveen/Vragenderveen and the Mentinkbos/Rommelgebirge. It is an extensive scenery and Natural Monuments is richly represented here.
Winterswijk is 7 km away. On Wednesdays and Saturdays there is a cozy market.
In addition, there are plenty of restaurants that you can enjoy (whether or not) organic local dishes.
Other nice towns that are nearby are the book town of Bredevoort ( very cozy!), Aalten, Lichtenvoorde and Groenlo.
And Germany is just around the corner! With also beautiful nature reserves including Het Zwillbrockervenn where the flamingos are!
