Our house is a cute Old Tahoe cottage from the 50's that is fresh and well maintained.
Large yard, located on the Westshore about a mile south of Tahoe City, close to N. Tahoe ski resort.
Perfect for families and great as a mountain getaway. Sorry, no furry friends allowed.

The space

This 1950's cottage is a fresh version of Old Tahoe. Comfortable, relaxed and fun on a large sunny, 1 acre lot.

The house is 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. 1 bedroom has a king bed, 1 bedroom has a queen bed and the 3rd bedroom has 2 sets of twin bunk beds.

Large private yard, lots of parking, 7 person hot tub, gas BBQ, towels, board games, wifi, Apple TV, cable, DVD, ipod dock boombox (iphone/ipod 4 compatible) outfitted kitchen (waffle maker, crock pot, coffee maker, coffee grinder, mixer blender, serving platters, wine glasses, regular dish ware plus 16 large dinner plates, etc), firewood (in the winter), DVD's, w/d, clawfoot bathtub, snow removal, X-Box in the bunk room (sorry, no games but they can be rented at Video Stop in Tahoe City).

15 minutes to Squaw, Alpine Meadows and Homewood (without traffic), less than 5 minutes to Tahoe City and Sunnyside, 30 minutes to Nothstar (without traffic).

We are available on an as needed basis. We live in the neighborhood and are available if necessary.

Neighborhood is on the Westshore, behind the Catholic church. It is walk to Tahoe City and Sunnyside in the summer. It's close to mountain biking trails and the bike path. In the winter, easy access to Homewood, Squaw and Alpine and a quick drive to Tahoe City. Property is secluded and located on almost an acre.

Bus stop for the TART Bus in both south and north directions is about a 1 minute walk.

1 week minimum required for the week during the 4th of July.
$400 a night during the summer months
1 week minimum required over Christmas break.
$400 a night during Christmas and New Year holidays.
Sorry, no refunds for weather.

This adorable updated cabin is a super convenient location and very charming. We enjoyed making use of the hot tub, the grill, and the well-appointed kitchen. We comfortably fit 8 adults, and we would definitely rent again!

We rented this charming and adorable home for a ladies getaway and it was perfect. The house is decorated beautifully and we enjoyed the high end appliances. We had so much fun playing yard games in the beautiful lawn and eating meals on the patio and relaxing in the deck chairs that we never even got to enjoy the hot tub. The house was very close to everything in Tahoe City and Shannon was so attentive and helpful when we had a slight issue with the door knob. We are already talking about booking this home again.

This a beautiful and charming Tahoe cabin that is well restored and superbly appointed. We loved the location 5 minutes from Tahoe city yet woodsy and private.

I celebrated my birthday with some close friends at Shannon and Quentin's house, and we had a great stay. The house is beautiful and very clean. It's in a very central location, close to a lot of shops and restaurants, as well as the lake and Truckee River. The beds in the house were extremely comfortable, there's plenty of seating in the living room, and the jacuzzi worked great and was lovely to unwind in after full days of hiking, etc. I would definitely stay here again - highly recommend!

The house itself was cute and as advertised, and we enjoyed our stay in Tahoe, but the location could be better (it is just above Highway 89, so there is road noise at all times and car lights at night - it is not as secluded as the pictures/description suggest). All in all, it was largely fine.
