Other things to note
Summer is the rainy season from July 1 to middle of October, usually. Rains can be intense, short, sometimes overnight, but usually it's mostly sunny soon after! Very green and beautiful. Pools from the village waterfall and upper waterfall in village very cool when ocean heats up in August. Summertime (July - Oct) would not recommend bedroom use of upstairs when raining. It is roofed and has curtains, but is quite open to strong winds. Dry season begins mid-October, hot with cool nights beginning late Nov and into March. Beautiful! Lots of whale-watching right in the bay from Nov to late March, great walking to big pools in the rivers, waterfalls, great bird watching right from house, especially upper suite. Lots of animal life surrounding property. Good musical entertainment from Dec to May

Yelapa, Jalisco, Mexico

Trail along the Yelapa River with very few houses ending at Yelapa Waterfall. Friendly gentle people in this sheltered valley of a few close families. Some vendors selling at stands, low key, personable, valley sheltered by trees. The river valley trail to the waterfall with river pools is home to only 12 neighbours/ families along the river. Some mid-day tour groups move in/out quickly to the falls.

I'm an active, person, a biologist, steward of the planet, educator, artist, who spends most of my time outdoors. Hobbies include photography, travelling and exploring sustainable cultures, learning languages, writing, and broom-making. Love life, happy to be of service and share the joy! I have a small language school I run out of my house, which takes a few hrs of my day and a patio of my house. When working elsewhere (various projects and travels), the entire house is for rent, and when in-house, teaching and broom-making, the upstairs covered terrace and side-patio/kithcen and downstairs kitchen/dining area is available for rental.
