Chateau des Tertres, built in 1905 on a promontory overlooking the sea, is surrounded by a park with centuries-old trees.
Near the Cape Frehel whose cliffs covered with heather and gorse borders the Emerald Coast, the castle of Tertres is located in the town of Plévenon, just above the beach "Les grèves d'en bas". In what used to be the castle farm, a loft house for 2 + 2 people has been built.

Guest access

The Annex is accessible via a reserved alley, along the park, giving it a perfect privacy.
The cars are parked in the entrance of the castle.
Next to it, a sort of hangar serves as a wood reserve and has a ping-pong table. Very useful for storing bikes.
We walk down to the sea which is 400 m.

Interaction with guests

I personally welcome my guests and reserve them the time necessary to explain the operation of the house and give them all the information necessary for their stay.

Other things to note

The network does not allow the use of WI FI in the house. Connection is possible in the park and on the terrace of the main house accessible 24/24.

To beginn with the surrounding: Cap Frehel is one of the places we've liked the most in our 2-week holiday. A spectacular place with a light house 80 meters above the sea, surrounded by birds, wind and waves. Long hikes on the cliff and walks on the beach are great, because it is a dramatic and solitary landscape (in off-season). The location of Jeanne is a 3 minutes walk form the beach. You can see small spots of the sea trough the trees from the house The house we've stayed was just perfect for the two of us. The interior is very tasteful and on the same time practical. There is even a chimney, but we never used it. Instead we sat outside in the sun in in our very private garden just outside the balcony door. Through the other door you get to the garden of the chateau. It is a beautiful park with old trees, with a bench here and there. You can sit there and enjoy the green and the silence that is only interrupted by the few chickens passing by or the dog that says hello. The cats will ignore you anyway as cats do. What we liked about the house: We had our absolute privacy, everything we needed to cook now and then, a spacious and perfectly working shower and bath room, tasteful vintage furniture here and there. The entire place is well kept and absolutely clean. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the house. Small disadvantage: The WLAN currently works only on the terrace or in the kitchen of Jeannes house, which can be used at any time. She's currently looking to fix the WLAN in the house where we stayed. Second issue: The main bed is just 1.4m. But in case that comfort is more important than romance, there are two smaller beds up on the gallery. We did not used them. ;-) A few words about Jeanne: She is a great host with good taste and an open heart. We had been in contact long before our holiday and she communicates very good. During our stay she was helpful with information, tipps, some eggs form the chicken now and then (they're currently a bit lazy). And we enjoyed her company with a glass of bubbles. Jeanne also offers single rooms in the main house, so we had friends coming for a long weekend. We all enjoyed Jeanne and her place and spent a wonderful summer holiday. Thank you Jeanne!
