Our house is 100m from the Mosque. It is simple but has everything you need to enjoy a few days in Cordoba. We have been concerned that the decoration conveys beauty and joy. The terrace, the best.

The house is in the centre of historic Cordoba so driving to it is close to impossible but there is a car parking area about 750 meters to a 1 km away. Joaquina was there when we arrived and showed us all the features of the house. Her english is very limited but when combined with my limited Spanish we got along famously. The house is located in a perfect location to explore Córdoba...minutes from all the major sites. There were no surprises, everything was as described which is great as I have had some issues with other places that were not as described. The roof top terrace was a special delight to have late afternoon wine and cheese. When did not spend enough time in Córdoba but if we go back I will be booking here again.

Joaquina's place is the best AirBnb apartment/house we have stayed at. Perfect location, right in the heart of Cordoba, with the Mezquita in sight as well as short walk to Roman Bridge. Joaquina is a wonderful host, who communicated well, leading up to and on the day of check-in. Her house was sparkling clean, and smelt of freshness when we arrived. And though she did not speak English, we understood her perfectly. Her house (which is all yours for your stay), is amazing! everything you need; all the amenities, and the icing on the cake, is the Rooftop terrace. Comfortable rooms, and its great having more than one bathroom. Joaquina even provided some amazing local tips to eat at. One place, just 20 metres down the end of your street "La Tata", has some excellent local cuisine for great value and amazing service. Joaquina even contacted a taxi for us for our departure the following morning. Cordoba is a beautiful gem of a town, and our experience was made better because of having a place like Joaquina's. Thank you Joaquina. No doubt, we would stay here if get a chance to come back to Cordoba. Amazing.

We were four adults who took the house to enjoy the Festival de los Patios in May 2017. This is a fantastically situated little house with an absolutely wonderful terrace. It's clean and comfortable, has all you require, and Joaquina is lovely. You're close to everything you need: there are excellent eating places very close by, a small shop to buy basics for breakfast at home, the Hammam just round the corner to relax in and the Mezquita only a couple of minutes away. It's a lovely area, very picturesque. It can be quite lively nearby in the evenings but not enough to disturb if you want peace and quiet. The only downside I can think of is the lack of a little fridge upstairs on the terrace level. We spent most breakfasts and late evenings there and you have to carry everything up the narrow stairs from the kitchen on the ground floor. However that's a minor point, and we would certainly go back again should the opportunity arise. We can thoroughly recommend it.

We liked this house well enough. We checked in and out easily. The house was clean and mostly well-provisioned. The plants are magnificent. But, we didn’t love the location. It is at the edge of the old town. We would have preferred something more deeply embedded in the winding streets, but that is a personal preference. We also were stared at by locals every time we came or left the house. I don’t know how it is received by the neighbors that there is an Airbnb on the block. The location is also loud. There is a kid who lives nearby that whines or screams incessantly and a dog that barks a lot. I know this seems petty, but we spent a lot of time on the terrace listening to the dog and the kid. However, we had no problem sleeping as they both quieted down at night. Other thoughts about the house: This is a narrow townhouse on three levels. The first level has a living room/dining room, kitchen, and full bathroom. The second level has the two bedrooms and another full bathroom. The third level has a landing with a washer and dryer and the terrace. The terrace is awesome. The bathroom showers are very small and we ran out of hot water in the upper shower if we took back-to-back showers. It was up to us to make our own beds with the supplied bedding. This is the first time I’ve had to do that in an Airbnb. While the sheets were freshly laundered, I'm not sure about the blankets. There was no coffee nor laundry soap provided. This was also unusual for us as most hosts don’t expect their guests to schlep coffee and laundry soap through their travels. The main bed is small - about the size of a double. So, if you think that is too small for you, be sure to tell the host before you arrive to put out bedding for the single beds. We didn’t need the bedroom air conditioners but tried them and they worked. The Wifi is good, but slow, in the house but too weak to use consistently on the terrace. Have I mentioned how much we loved the terrace?

Joaquina was a lovely host and the apartment suited our needs. She had fruit and milk for us and the kitchen was well equipped. The location of the apartment was very convenient and the roof terrace was a wonderful place to hangout. Our only complaint was that the adjoining neighbor broadcast loud music several hours each evening with no regard for how it might impact others. We found the spiral staircase a bit narrow and the artwork hideous but that is certainly personal preference.

Quaint home in the perfect location for exploring Córdoba! Such a fun, tri-level layout and impeccably clean! Beautiful terrace! Super comfortable beds and cozy bedding. The two bathrooms are truly a blessing when traveling with a group. Lots of hot water. Plenty of space, and a nice little kitchen for cooking! Located in the heart of the historic center, but still quiet--even on New Year's Eve. This rental helped to make our time in Córdoba unforgettable!
