Roxi and Mark's place was neat, clean, accessible, and safe. Checking-in was as hassle-free as checking out.... perfect for an overnighter! So glad to have found their listing; grateful that they've accepted my last-minute request. Cool hosts!!

Nice, comfortable place to stay out in the country, but close enough to Traverse City and other places nearby. Very communicative and accommodating hosts, and friendly dogs to boot. :)

Roxi and Mark's place was very decorative. They had very good communication. When we arrived it was around 10:30pm and there was a note left telling us where our room. We felt at home. Definitely recommend staying with them.

My husband and I stayed here for a night as part of our babymoon. The upstairs is very sweet with lots of interesting antiques to look at. Bed is comfy (a little too small for us, but I'm 7 months pregnant and need lots of space, so I'm biased) The views are beautiful. We fell asleep to the sound of crickets and night birds. Roxi and Mark are really chill, very accommodating and friendly. The dogs are friendly, too. Well worth the price.

We had a great stay with Roxi and Mark. We had forgotten about the time change and they were flexible and kind about our late arrival. The room was very comfortable and equipped with bottled water, popcorn and ramen, and toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. We were only there quickly, but the surroundings were beautiful and we would have loved to enjoy the porch and property. The one problem for us is that there didn't seem to be an actual shower, just a shower head attachment that didn't seem to attach anywhere to the wall (which made it difficult to use without spraying all over) and a bathtub without a curtain or shower walls (and a not particularly private window). Now, we were up and out of the house fairly early and couldn't find anyone to ask about the shower, so perhaps there is an explanation or way to use it that we didn't understand. We didn't want to bother Roxi and Mark if they weren't yet up. If showering as opposed to bathing is important to you though, I would just definitely check in with them about it. Again, they were very kind and otherwise the home was very comfortable.

Roxi & Mark's place is a litter slice of heaven out in the country but close enough to Traverse City, Sleepy Bear Dunes and all the marvels of N Michigan. Their house is a bounty of arts that make a picturesque quiet farmhouse from the late 1800s into a museum. The upstairs bedroom is very spacious and the large bathroom with a full tub was very welcoming. I will definitely come back again and again.
