The cottage is a studio space with kitchen, bed, living room, dining table, private outdoor porch and bathroom with shower. We also provide simple amenities for cooking. The cottage is directly behind our family home and shares a deck with the main house. It is close to national parks and forest, running, hiking, biking trails, Eldora ski area and 10 minutes northeast of the town of Nederland. You’ll love my place because of access to nature, the decor of the cottage and the location.

The space

The cottage is nicely designed and stylishly furnished, it is a cozy space comfortable for two people.

Guest access

The cottage is a separate and private dwelling located directly behind our family home. The cottage shares a deck with the main house where we have a propane powered grill available for guest use. There is a private porch to the north of the cottage just for the guests.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at this adorable cottage. The place has a secluded feel, but was only a few minutes drive from Nederland shops and restaurants. We loved the view of the golden Aspens from the little back deck, where we had our tea and breakfast. We will definitely stay here anytime we visit the Nederland area!

This cottage is a DREAM, especially in the fall. It looks exactly like the pictures and feels private and secluded, but is within a short driving distance of quaint coffee shops, restaurants, and a grocery store. The view of the forest (especially the Aspen trees!) out the windows is gorgeous, and the space itself is cozy and comfortable. The dogs are friendly, too! I would 100% recommend this spot.

Great place. Secluded but yet close to restaurants and grocery store. Very cozy!

This was an incredible space to spend a night in. The private back porch was our favorite feature and we were lucky enough to catch a thunder storm that we could watch when we were up there. Overall, a beautiful little studio. We loved our experience.

Great place to stay, perfectly put together with plenty of privacy and everything we needed for a night. The views were great, and the dogs were cute and friendly! Highly recommended.

Very neat and clean. Emilie is extremely accommodating. We arrived in the dark (and it is very dark) and she came out to greet us and help us get situated. We hadn't thought about the morning so Emilie gave us a good start with some freshly ground coffee for the morning. It is very small but for the few days we were there that was fine. Kitchen could use additional dishes, glasses and some more silverware. If you plan to cook, bring your condiments and oil.

Great cottage! Perfect 1 night stay for 2 people, trying to figure out how I can make a similar cottage at my house

I am an independent filmmaker originally from Nederland, Colorado. I recently moved back to the mountains with my husband, our 10 year old son, cat and dog -
after living for ten years in Trinidad and Tobago. I know the area well and am happy to provide guests with recommendations for outdoor adventures or where to go to grab a meal. The cottage, located directly behind our home off the main deck, is a great retreat from city life and a perfect spot to access and enjoy the Rocky Mountains. We spend a lot of time outside so you may bump into us on the trampoline, working in the garden or making a camp fire. That being said, the cottage has a private deck out back with table and chairs for guests.
