We had a short but great stay in Aramo. Patrizia showed us around and told us about all the villages in the neighbourhood. The house has everything you need and the magnificent view from the balcony makes it complete! Thanks again, we'll definitely remember this place!!

Patrizia was very kind to us and left us a basket with some things for breakfast and a lot of information about Italy and the surrounding area. The place was cozy, and exactly what we were looking for. The view was amazing and worth every penny.

A most AMAZING one bedroom flat in the heart of Tuscany! The host is very warm, cheerful, and helpful. The place is very clean! Fully equipped building, with other condo's/apts. Parking is easy, and recommend having with WiFi,TV, kitchen utensils. The flat is located in a large mid evil a car, which we did. Our personal safety in this area was not a concern at all. Very quiet , private setting, with a huge terrace outside the door of the flat. An amazing view of the countryside and mountains, with some small town nestled in the distant mountains. Stunning, absolutely serene and beautiful!. Especially in early morning and late night. We enjoy living among the locals ( non-tourist towns) and this was perfect! Pescia, a small town close by, was our favorite spot where we sat at cafe on the main street, and had out morning cappuccino and sample delicious pastries. ......people watching. True Italian daily living. From here, once into Pescia, its easy to take trains to La Spezia, Cinque Terre, Pisa, Lucca, and Florence. It was the BEST five days of our 3-week Italy trip! Highly recommend!!!

Patrizia was the perfect host :) really friendly and quick to respond to help with any queries or problems we had - this was much appreciated!! The place is absolutely stunning with breathtaking mountain views. Very clean and homely with a lovely breakfast basket on arrival. Extremely good value for money. Perfect base for exploring Lucca, Pitiglio and other surrounding areas. There is no shop in the small village of Aramo, however there are plenty in nearby Pescia including Lidl and Coop. For cooking there are 2 electric hobs and one microwave grill oven which we found more than sufficient. Overall this place is excellent and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again! Thank you Patrizia!

Patrizia was a wonderful host. She made us feel very welcome and at ease. Even went out of here way to get us a nice breakfast and a gift. The village and surrounding towns are charming - high up in the mountains, remote, quiet. Castelvecchio is a great town with a nice restaurant/beautiful cafe overlooking the valley. The house is very comfortable - it's not big but you needn't more than it provides. If you're interested in the smaller villages that Italy boasts with history, festivals and hiking trips, this is perfect for you.

We really enjoyed our stay at Patrizia's place in Aramo! The little village in the mountains is located rigth in the middle of Lucca and Florence, thus being a perfect starting point to visit them. Nevertheless, you live in a village somehow hidden under its "normal" inhabitants and far away from places crowded with tourists. You can explore the countryside by hiking, you can visit old churches, other mountain villages and enjoy delicious food in its tiny ristorantes. The appartment is very cute. It is small but you have everything you need AND you have this unbelievable amazing view right in front of your house. On the terrace, with this wonderful countryside in the background, you can have your breakfast and dinner! Thank you Patricia. You are a very lovely host. We highly recommend this place!
