This place was exactly what we were expecting when it came to finally checking in. We came as a large group of 9 and there were no extra charges, which is AMAZING when you come from a large family. Julie and her daughter Sara welcomed us as we pulled into the driveway. They showed us where we would be sleeping as well as giving us extra pads seeing that there were only 2 beds and a couch. This place was awesome and we came late summer. I can only imagine what itd be like right after all of the fruits start to ripen. We got a tour of the land, and we got to pick some berries. It was nice getting to know the family that owns the house seeing that we had a lot in common. Something to keep in mind is once you get to the house cell service is spotty, and the road to the house is a small adventure in its self. But totally worth it. As posted it was only 15 minutes away from Silverwood and thats why we chose that place. I definitely recommend staying here because this is as friendly as a family can be and there are no surprises.

My families stay at the McKerracher Family Farm was a great experience. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. My kids really enjoyed exploring the farm and seeing the animals. To top it off the McKrrachers made us feel like part of the family. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay there again.

Julie and Kerry were the perfect hosts. Attentive but not intrusive. The space was large and the beds comfortable. The house itself is situated in a beautiful part of the world with rolling hills and lovely thick forestry. Oh and the goats and dog are friendly and petable!

Julie's place is one of the better AirBnb spots that I've stayed at in the area. Her family farm gives you a chance to eat locally grown fruits and vegetables. It's about a 2 mile drive off Hightway 95 to her home so it puts you out of cell service if you have T-Mobile. However for me that was not a problem because I prefer to stay away from the electronics while on vacations anyway. The guest rooms are medium to large size and they have several windows which gives you the chance to wake up with the sun. Beds are comfortable and for your convenience there's a private bathroom for the two guest rooms.

Don't be scared of the long dark driveway if u show up at night. It was inviting and safe. Julie and her family were welcoming and very helpful. Gave us our privacy and we're always on top of any questions or help needed.
