A touch of the country in the city, this newly built, gambrel-style carriage house is completely separate from our house, with a fully private upstairs suite.

You are within easy walking distance to shops, transportation, university and many other amenities, which we'll gladly help you discover.

Warm and cozy, spotlessly clean, fully furnished upstairs suite.

There is a modern, fully equipped kitchen and a very comfortable double bed with 100% cotton sheets and 100 % cotton duvet cover.

If needed, a comfy sofa bed with 100% cotton bedding can also be easily set up. Just let us know in advance and we're happy to get things ready for you.

The bathroom has a heated floor and there is a front load washer and dryer in the suite for your convenience.

Fluffy towels, warm blankets and pillows will make your stay so comfortable.

We are located in Queen Alexandra neighbourhood, adjacent to the historic Old Strathcona area, close to the many shops and restaurants on Whyte Avenue and surrounding area.
It's a short 15-20 minutes' walk to the University of Alberta, Jubilee Auditorium, the University Hospital and the Cross Cancer Institute.
We are also very close to Campus St. Jean in the French Quarter, and a short walk to the Fringe International Theatre festival.
The Strathcona Farmers Market is but a few blocks away, and is open Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. It is a very popular market with lots of locally grown foods, baked goods, artisan crafts and clothing. We are there most Saturday mornings and enjoy coffee and breakfast, wonderfully prepared food from local producers.
