Our home, a bright converted firehouse, is the perfect location if you're looking to explore London. Only a 20 min journey to Oxford Circus, it's central and has everything on its doorstep.

Essex Rd & Upper St (both a 2 minute walk) boast a huge variety of bars, restaurants & pubs, a gym, various supermarkets, boutique shops, well known high st. stores, music venues, cinemas & theatres.

Highbury & Islington Station - 10 min walk
Angel Station - 10 min walk
Essex Rd National Rail - 5 min walk

The space
Our home has huge (almost!) floor to ceiling windows, letting in tons of light but is furnished to keep it cozy during the winter months.

The bedroom is situated at the back of the flat which means you can basically hear a pin drop! It's super cozy and has an en suite bathroom with a shower. There space to hang your clothes and an iron and board to iron.

We love cooking and baking - the kitchen is fully equipped with all the mod-cons - an oven, stove, dishwasher, washer/dryer and everything you might need to make pretty much anything as well as tons of work-surface space.

There is also a fresh fruit and veg store, a butchers, fish-monger and laundrette at the bottom of our street.

Within a 3-8 minute walk you have all the supermarkets including: Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, M&S, Planet Organic, Co-Op and Budgens as well as sole traders selling fresh and local produce.

One of our favourite parts of London is the East, with just a 20-30 minute walk along the beautiful canal you reach Shoreditch and Haggerston as well Dalston, Hackney Stoke and Newington.

Guest access
You access the property with a key through the communal entrance doors at the front of the building. There is an entry phone in each flat to make sure the building is secure - we feel very safe here! Our flat is on the first floor up a small flight of stairs.

Other things to note
We will leave you a list of all the very best and most delicious places to go in and around the area. You can take public transport anywhere that's worth visiting within 20-45 mins and even walk into central London in 45 mins if you so wish.

This area has so much to offer, it's our favourite part of London because it feels like a village but it's so central!

Hi there, My name is Jodie, I recently moved back to London, where I was born and bred, after a 6 year adventure in New York. I worked there in the fashion industry as a consultant, I now have my own company doing the same in London. I live for travel and will never get bored of South America, but now I'm back, I'm keen to explore more of Europe. Food is the route to my heart - I'm a massive foodie and love eating out but I've just got into cooking - Indian, Thai, Italian...and I make a mean Sunday roast! I love gigging and with such an incredible choice of venues in London, it's made easy...we even have a music venue at the top of our street. We hope to welcome you into our home and will do our best to make sure you have a wonderful stay in one of the best and most beautiful parts of London. We'll see you soon! Jodie
