Our home is a two story house with yellow siding and white shutters. It has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, utility room, kitchen, living room, and small sitting room/ den. We have a security system, landline phone, TV and DVD player, microwave, and if you choose you may get internet and satellite. We are close to family-friendly activities. You’ll love it here because of the ambiance, the outdoors space, and the neighborhood. Our home is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

The space
We live in Middleburg, a rural community with a beautiful blue grass , hilly setting. Our house is a family owned home since the 1800's. It was built by my great great grandfather so when we remodeled, we tried to keep it as original as possible. We have an original picture of the man that built the house over the mantle for everyone to see. The house is set back from the street with a long driveway which adds to its character. You will love the uniqueness of our back yard which is large, cool, shaded, and leads down to a cave that once supplied water and cold storage for the family.

Where you’ll be

Middleburg, Kentucky, United States

The neighborhood is very small but very friendly and anyone would be willing to help you. This is a very quiet and safe community. One of our local favorites for eating is the Bread of Life, located about four miles south of Liberty. We also have a Subway, Pizza Hut, McDonalds, and the local Mexican restaurant in Liberty. There is Hickory Hills Country Club on Short Town Road where there is golf and swimming. There is also a large Amish community with lots of Amish made products. They have fruits and vegetables, cheese, home made bread, cakes, and candy. and even household furniture. This is a very interesting way of life and gives us a view of their culture and customs.

I also still substitute teach in the county. Europe is my favorite place to travel and I love, Germany, Italy, and Greece most of all. My husband and I have lived here on the family farm most of our lives with our two dogs and two cats and lots of horses.
