Tim, we are so sorry to read this feedback. We make every effort to provide you, and all our guests, with our contact info (and backup contact) in case you have any issues with your stay (we’re only an hour away). On your check-in date, you sent a text saying “We are checked in and good to go!”, but heard nothing about problems. Had we heard from you, we would have taken immediate action to resolve the issue. We’ve since checked on the furnace and see that everything is working fine, so maybe there was confusion with the thermostat instructions and/or settings that could have been communicated via phone. We’ll definitely review and update our instructions if needed. Regarding the fridge, I notified you two days before your visit that there might be a problem, and you responded via email “not a big deal for us I don't think. Thanks for the heads up.” We are really disappointed at not having the opportunity to fix things and make your stay enjoyable – and feel bad that you didn’t experience the best Mt Hood has to offer. If you find yourself back on Mt Hood, we would be happy to host you again, at a discounted rate.
