The place is awesome! My friends and I had a great weekend there, it's had everything we need and more. A ton of board games to choose from and had a good time playing some pingpong! Just wished we could have stayed longer.

Completely underwhelming. The key lock box is in a ridiculous place and pretty treacherous to get to. Read the listing carefully because apparently heat is not an amenity. We had to figure out how to reset the furnace both nights when we woke up freezing at 45 degrees in the c…

Response from Pat:
Tim, we are so sorry to read this feedback. We make every effort to provide you, and all our guests, with our contact info (and backup contact) in case you have any issues with your stay (we’re only an hour away). On your check-in date, you sent a text saying “We are checked in and good to go!”, but heard nothing about problems. Had we heard from you, we would have taken immediate action to resolve the issue. We’ve since checked on the furnace and see that everything is working fine, so maybe there was confusion with the thermostat instructions and/or settings that could have been communicated via phone. We’ll definitely review and update our instructions if needed. Regarding the fridge, I notified you two days before your visit that there might be a problem, and you responded via email “not a big deal for us I don't think. Thanks for the heads up.” We are really disappointed at not having the opportunity to fix things and make your stay enjoyable – and feel bad that you didn’t experience the best Mt Hood has to offer. If you find yourself back on Mt Hood, we would be happy to host you again, at a discounted rate.

This cabin is in a great location. Easy access to the outdoors with a cozy living room with big windows for a Winter afternoon. Kelli was a very good communicator before and during our stay. Perfect for two families / 7 of us. Thank you!

We had an ideal stay in Government Camp! Communication was great, hosts are very upfront about what to expect and what is expected of you, as well as being flexible and welcoming. Very much a family cabin; we felt like family. Thanks for a great stay!

The cabin is in an ideal location if you want to be close to the Timberline shuttle and town. We had an absolutely wonderful time at the cabin. There were 4 adults, a baby and kid and we fit comfortably in the cabin. We had a ton of fun with all the games provided. The hosts we…
