We would love to share our family beach cottage with you on Bainbridge Island. It's a charming and well maintained 1940's house with updated kitchen and bath. Our house provides a relaxing base for exploring Bainbridge Island, Seattle via the ferry to downtown, the Olympic Peninsula, and is a very short walk to a lovely accessible beach with views of downtown Seattle across Puget Sound. Rolling Bay is a short walk away with a couple of inviting shops and options for food.

The space

True original Bainbridge house. Located on a private drive that leads to grounds overlooking Puget Sound and Seattle in the distance. It's a comfortable one level house with three bedrooms to accommodate up to 6 people! Queen bed in the master and two sets of twins in the other two rooms for a total of four twins. Note: The 3rd bedroom has a bunk room feel. The gathering room located in the back of the house is filled with the light of SE exposure, great comfy sofas, and has a back deck to sit and view the water toward the city.

The nicely equipped kitchen is fit for family participation in prepping a meal. A small breakfast nook near the front entry is for sipping coffee or computer work.

We are new to AirBnB, but this house has been on the summer vacation rental market for 4 years with many happy guests and kind reviews.

Dana and Julia are happy to help you with suggestions for exploring Bainbridge Island.

Julia and Dana's place is great for a quick getaway to Bainbridge Island. We enjoyed walking through the forest to get amazing pasta at Via Rosa. We ate breakfast while enjoying the view of the water from the dining room window. The place even came with lots of games and plates/cups for kids, which was great for our friends' toddler. It was comfortable, clean, and came stocked with the basics. Thank you for hosting us!

Great home for up 5 or 6 depending on sleeping - very spacious. My three kids and I loved it. Location was great - 1 minute to the beach and a few minutes from the shops and ferry. We would definitely recommend this house.

My wife and I stayed at Julia and Dana's place for a little less than a week. We did not get to meet Julia (we communicated by email and phone), but Dana was able to stop by. Both were welcoming. The house is charming. It is very quiet. It overlooks the sound that separates Bainbridge from Seattle, and the drive to the ferry dock is short, which was important for us because we needed to be able to get back and forth to Seattle easily and frequently. This place suited us very well, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a retreat within reach of the city.

Julia's place is amazing. More than comfortable. And charming. Kitchen has everything and dining room adjacent. Living room, bedrooms (super mattresses) and bath. Great terraces for sitting both overlooking the Puget Sound and Mt Rainier and the comfortable backyard. We will be back. Don't miss the Bloedel Reserve. And so much more!

A truly wonderful place. The house is spacious and well equipped with a view through the trees to the water. The rocky beach itself is just a minute's walk away. The house is quaint and comfortable. Shops and restaurants a very short drive away and Seattle a short ferry ride away. Massively recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was remote enough to enjoy some peace and quiet, yet close enough to restaurants and the Seattle ferry that we never felt like we were driving too much. The place was wonderfully kept and clean. Julia went out of her way to be helpful as she assisted with some additional information about the area. Highly recommended.
