Lots of sightseeing locations within a few minutes drive:
- First of course, the town of Barr is gorgeous !
- During summer, one Sunday a month, the main street fills with artisans.
- The beautiful town of Colmar, with its 'Little Venice' is worth driving to.
- Alsace wine route.
- La montagne des singes
- La volerie des aigles
- Le Mont St-Odile
- Castle of Haut-Andlau
- Castle of Haut-Koenigsbourg
- There is a superb cemetery at the church in Andlau.
- And of course, Strasbourg is at a mere 20 minutes drive. You *must* see its cathedral.

If you want to go a little further, the pretty towns of Offenburg (Germany) and Basel (Switzerland) are at 40 and 60 minute drives, respectively.

Other Things to Note

Please contact us at least one day prior to arrival so we can make sure the place is ready to welcome you.

Check-in before 1900hrs if possible, it makes things so much simpler for both you and us.

However, it's always possible to accommodate late arrivals! :-)

It happens that we receive overlapping inquiries. We always give priority to the first inquiry. We are also very prompt to reply (within a few hours at worst). However, it happens that, after replying, we do not receive a response: when that happens, if we do not get an answer within 48 hours, we consider the enquirer is not interested anymore and we will deal with the next in line.

We love to tour Europe and discover new places. We found this little town of Barr, loved it and decided to invest in a pied-à-terre.
