Firstly thank you for taking the time to let us know your concerns- we wanted to write that we have taken your feedback seriously and are changing our methods so we can communicate with guests more clearly.
If they haven't already, we do actively ask our guests to share their criticisms after check-out- we can’t improve our service if no one shares feedback. We felt sending you a short reminder 3 days after you checked out was a happy balance between keeping your stay fresh in memory and not being too bothersome.
Experience taught us, however, many guests can feel uncomfortable leaving criticism given the public nature of reviews. Our intention is to let guests know that they should feel free to leave critique and for those who prefer to do so with discretion, Airbnb offers a private feedback option. We apologise if our sentiment got lost somewhere.
We have many great people come and stay with us continually and we really appreciate any efforts our guests make to recycle waste and strip the beds after their stay, although this is of course totally optional. Many thanks for recycling your waste and we apologise for any inconvenience.
