IMPORTANT: SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
This Property has a unique layout. 2 traditional bedrooms can account for 4 people. The 3rd room is a large loft with a king-sized bed and a queen-sized bed, separated only by a curtain. Above are 4 bonus beds, each a single (set up for children).
This means the property technically sleeps 12; however, it's important to note that limited privacy could make sleeping arrangements awkward if you don't give this some thought in advance.
RUSTIC:
This is a traditional family cabin. This means that nothing is new - in fact, the furniture, fridge, and stove are all antique. This location has a homey rustic feel. If this doesn't sound like your vibe, then that's OK - it's simply not a fit.
POWER
In-line with Seymour Arm, there is no electrical power. The property runs off a generator for electrical, and propane for the fridge, stove, and hot water. This means that someone in your party will need to be comfortable with lighting a stove with a lighter! While this is simple, it's new to many people, so please follow the instructions on the kitchen table upon entering the cabin.
FIREPLACE
The fireplace is functional, but it's suggested that you have experience lighting and managing a fireplace's choke. The ambiance and warmth are highlights, but come with a strong WARNING that it must be monitored carefully at all times to ensure the safety of your party and to avoid potential damage that may be required to be paid in case of a fire. While the owners won't be on-site, we are always available to walk you through starting and maintaining a fire.
NO POWER AT NIGHT
The generator will power your devices and provide light; however, it's not advised to run it overnight to avoid burning through your gas too quickly. To offset this, the cabin is stocked with flashlights, candles, and electric lamps to help everyone navigate for those middle-of-the-night bathroom breaks. Don't forget to bring light with you to your bed!
