Here you can enjoy an amazing beach, a beautiful view and spectacular nature. There are excellent conditions for both northern lights and summer-hikes in the midnight sun from the doorstep! Only ten minutes from the airport at Leknes!

We have newly refurbished the house both on the outside and on the inside to ensure an even more spectacular stay for our guests!

The space
Our house is right in the middle of everything Lofoten has to offer. 100 meters from the house you will find a glorious white beach, where you can build your campfire, play in the sand or just enjoy the elements. It is also an excellent place to enjoy the midnight sun (when that is around), or the northern lights (when the dark has arrived). Just above the beach you can practice mountainclimbing with already placed bolts. It´s ten minutes to the closest city, Leknes, where you can buy (almost) everything that your heart desires. Leknes is also the location of the closest airport. Approximately 15-20 minutes away you can surf on either Flakstad or Unstad beach. And on your way there you can find several old fishing villages if thats your thing. And of course, if you enjoy hiking, just go out the door, turn around, and run to the mountains.

Amongst the spectacular nature, the people of Lofoten have had to learn how to live on the most extreme of places. This small "village" with five houses in total is a perfect example of this. We love the easy access to both nature and the social-life Lofoten has to offer.

Me and my girlfriend moved to Lofoten in 2016. I am born and raised in the area, while my girlfriend, Marthe, comes from Tromsø. I am a nurse and work administratively in a nearby municipality, while Marthe is a dentist. In September 2017 we also became the lucky parents to a beautiful daughter. We wanted to try the more rural life, and felt very lucky when we had the opportunity to buy our little house by the sea. We love our Lofoten-life so much, and really want to share it with others.
