If you are a light sleeper see notes below. Great location, nice apartment, a great solution for a trip to Rome. A very positive experience and would not hesitate to recommend (with the exception of light sleepers, see below). Main reason I did not give it 5 stars was because the house has a feel of gentle neglect. Nothing big, but a few small things that add up (e.g. a broken shower rod in one of the showers so that you have to hold the shower head while showering, a toilet seat that has a hard time staying up, etc.). Again, very small things but they added up as our kids encountered various minor challenges, that seemed major to them. Important note for light sleepers (or people with kids who are light sleepers). There is a restaurant and 24 hour grocery store literally right outside the window. We were woken up no fewer than 5 times every night because the windows and shutters provide almost no sound insulation. Examples of sounds that woke us up: fireworks (two nights), singing (two nights), saxophone (one night), pallet jacks clambering on uneven street (every night, at least twice), angry drunk guy yelling in the street (once), etc. Laying in bed we could hear the conversations at the restaurant below better than when we were in the street standing next to the diners. There is also not much sound insulation inside the apartment. We could hear everything going on in the rooms above us with the kids. I did not rate the apartment down for this because we are light sleepers, so it is probably just not a great fit for our family. For those of you who are heavy sleepers and/or who are not bothered by these kinds of noises I am sure you will have a great experience.

This apartment is fantastic. Large enough to accommodate six people comfortably. The location is superb, with the Spanish steps a 2 minute walk away in one direction, and shopping 2 minutes in the other. Across the street is a great little supermarket, and the apartment is surrounded by many good restaurants & wine bars. Check-in was thorough and quick. No problems there. Only downside to mention is that in there morning there is typically quite a bit of noise coming from the street (garbage men, deliveries, etc), but that is part & parcel of staying in central Rome, it is to be expected. Highly recommended, good host, nice apartment. Will book again.

The location and place are the best! Literally less than 2 blocks from Piazza Spagna and half block from Via del Corso! We walk everywhere from there! Even to the Coliseum and the Vatican. The place is clean, spacious, quiet (except in the morning for a short period of garbage pick up), with an small electric stove in the little kitchen. Big living room and dining room for European size in that location. 1 floor no elevator. 1 washer machine. 3 nice size bathrooms with bidets! Even 3 air conditioners, the largest room is in the first floor and can get the air from the living room air conditioner. There are also fans! Overall excellent location and place in the most touristic area of Rome. Most places only for pedestrians are closed to the cars, only taxis and authorized vehicles allowed. For your own sake, don't try to drive within Rome. It will take you 2 years to pay for the tickets (I did not drive there). Plenty of cabs near by. I think also Uber. Metro (subway) 2 blocks away in Piazza Spagna! Early and friendly check in! Don't forget to bring cash for the tourist tax ($3.50 per adults daily) to pay at check in along with with your identification. Great experience!

Location in Rome was terrific to visit the sights...very close to the Spanish Steps. Management staff was quick to fix the broken air-conditioner, the leak in the ceiling from the shower and to provide the correct outlet adapter. They also delivered extra towels when requested. A bit tough to sleep some nights with the trucks outside unloading.
