The space
This apartment is located in a 19th-century villa. It’s an inspiring space, filled with contemporary art and natural light. Beautiful direct sunlight illuminates both the bedroom and living room in the afternoons—an ideal space to uncork our wines. You will enjoy full privacy, as this apartment is independent from the rest of the house. It includes four areas: (1) a spacious and bright bedroom with a king-size bed, or alternatively, two double beds; (2) a separate living room with a single bed; (3) a kitchenette; and (4) a complete bathroom with a shower.

The Villa:
The apartment is part of a 19th-century villa belonging to an artist's family. The villa’s noble architecture is evident in its orientation toward the four cardinal points, filling the space with light, high ceilings, and a grand staircase. The small garden overlooks the historic Passos Vela Square, where you’ll find “Ceiba speciosa,” beautiful and exotic baobab-like trees. Pillows filled with the soft, highly valued cotton from these trees are available in our home.

The property is located in the tranquil Cascais "Museum Quarter," just a three-minute walk from the beach.

Guest access
Street access from "Doutor Passos Vela" Square is through a small garden and a spacious living room. Inside, you’ll find an art library and a collection of wines, preserved at the perfect temperature and ready to enjoy. The owners of the villa have moved to the countryside to focus on creating art and producing wine. The sunny and relaxing patio, which overlooks the historic square, is available for guests who rent one of the four apartments into which the villa is divided. You can choose to use this shared area or simply enjoy your private apartment, which has everything you need.

Laundry facilities are available in one corner of the garden. Additionally, there is a nearby laundry service just a two-minute walk away—"Mary Clean" offers excellent and convenient self-service washing and drying, along with quick, professional ironing that can also be delivered.

Other things to note
CLEANING SERVICE:
A complete cleaning service is provided every 7 nights from the date of arrival. This service includes the exchange of bed linen and towels. You can request additional cleanings and towel exchanges, which cost €25 and €5, respectively.
