This 1875 red brick home will take you back to the past. Relax and enjoy the hospitality of Brooke and Nona in comfortable, peaceful, air-conditioned and smoke free surroundings. Relax around the swimming pool or spend a day at the beach. Enjoy a swim in the pool when arriving back from a day of cycling around our beautiful Island. A five minute walk will bring you to the village of Picton where you can meander along at your own pace, enjoy discovering the many restaurants and boutiques.
On arrival, you will enter through the guest entrance which is 69 Union Street. All the rooms are located up the stairs on the second floor.
Coffee, tea, fresh fruit and muffins will be available in the mornings on the landing. Yogurt, fruit juice, milk and cream in the fridge.
Our pool in the back yard will be open for your pleasure and can be accessed through the garden gate on Church Street. We would request that you shower before swimming. Towels will be provided in the garden.
Please do not use the white towels from the bathroom.
We are situated 10 minutes walk to downtown Picton. where you will find several restaurants from casual to formal dining. Picton is also well known for its interesting shops, boutiques and sidewalk cafes. Our Regent Movie house (1922) is known for its up to date movies, satalite programs - Live Opera and ballet from London UK or New York. At the bottom of our road you will find Picton Harbour which is very busy in the Summer and of great interest.
Included in the price of our rooms is a car pass for Sandbanks Park for the duration of your stay which must be returned to us the evening before departure. Our prices include HST # (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN).
Parking is available on Church street. We have wifi, television and air conditioning. Enjoy your stay with us Brooke and Nona
The guest area is the second floor and the freedom of the garden where the pool is situated. We do not permit friends of guests swimming in our pool.
The pool is open from 7 am to 11 pm subject to guests being quiet, for the sake of other guests, our neighbors and ourselves.
Our BBQ is not for guests use. We have a dog (Max) on the premises and
therefore cannot accept guest pets.
Interaction with guests
Brooke will be available to help if requested in the planning of trips around the County where you will find numerous wineries, a number of breweries and a distillery. In addition, we have a copy of the Sojourner which provides information on all aspects of the County.
Prince Edward Point vies with Point Pelee in SW Ontario as the two major
migration points in Ontario and many people visit specifically in May.

We are obliged to charge HST # which is included in the price of our rooms.
There is one Queen bed in this room - sleeps 2. there are no other beds in this room.
