We went to Kassel to see the Documenta and the apartment was very clean, cosy and confortable, looking all new.The kitchen is complete if you like to cook some meals. It's not in the center, but there's a tram passing in front or the taxi costs around 10euros. Beatrice's father is very helpful and nice, living downstairs and always available. There's no shops or restaurants around, but you find a big supermarket 700m away. Leipziger strasse is busy during the day with also trucks passing by, but in the evening is quiet. I recomend if you dont mind not being center of the Documenta.
A newly decorated light and spacious apartment close to the tram, well equipped kitchen and lovely bathroom with sound proofed windows throughout. The 2nd bedroom is small, low ceiling, not as described originally and no window coverings in it makes it very hard to sleep. WIfi is unreliable. Beatrice's father was very helpful and friendly and lives in the apartment below, but if you don't speak German it is not easy, as his English is very limited. For other questions you have to message Beatrice and then wait for a reply as she speaks English.
Beatrice's apartment was clean and spacious and had lots of modern conveniences. She offered great detailed directions. Her father met us for check-in and check-out and was very helpful and kind. The neighbourhood is a quick tram ride to the centre of town or about 20 minutes walk and has an excellent grocery store a short walk away. We were visiting Documenta and found the change of scenery from the busy downtown to be refreshing. If you can sign up for the Conrad bike service, it could be a good alternative to trams and there's a bike station right around the corner from the apartment. All around great place.
