Welcome to a private country cape close to hiking, nature trails, state parks, public golf courses, historical towns, shopping, fine dining, family-friendly activities, vineyards, breweries, and more. Near to NY, PA, and the Jersey Shore. You’ll adore the outdoors space, the stars, the quiet, the natural surroundings, the proximity to adventures of many kinds. My place is good for couples, solo guests, families (with well behaved kids), and well-trained and behaved dogs. Enjoy your get-away!

The space

Nestled on a quiet road, this private adventure hub is adjacent to a local farmer's corn field and a state park. Deer, turkeys, rabbits, and more frequent the wide open acre back yard that offers spectacular views of the night sky. Nearby you'll find hiking and biking trails, Spruce Run and Round Valley reservoirs, several state parks, and easy access to main highways. The historic town of Clinton, featuring the iconic Red Mill and unique shops, is ten minutes away. You won't have to look far for fine dining or the feel of a home-cooked meal. There are at least twenty public golf courses within a thirty minute drive and bus and train access to New York City right around the corner. Also enjoy local breweries, music festivals, and the view of twilight hot-air balloon rides over local vineyards.

Very enjoyable stay. House is roomy and very comfortable. We were here for a month and wish it had been longer. Kitchen had everything needed for cooking our meals. Bedrooms were very comfortable. My husband was thrilled with the visiting deer that came by every day and even slept in the yard a night or two. Stephanie was wonderful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Would like to stay here again next summer.

This home was fabulous! We had everything we could have needed. We enjoyed the wooded yard and watching the wildlife in the evenings. The home owner was available by phone if we had any questions or needed anything. We were so comfortable and would recommend this home to anyone.

A very comfortable, cozy house with a great back yard and deck for grilling. It is convenient to many outdoor recreation areas. Stephanie was responsive and made our check in very easy. We all slept very well.

We were very impressed with the house, and the responsiveness of the host. When we walked in looked around, and the pictures don't do justice for the place. Stefanie was even nice enough to allow us to check-in early so we could drop her off in her kennel before leaving for the airport. Everything was great, and it was nice to have comfy beds to sleep in outside of the city after picking my daughters up at JFK. After returning from the airport and dinner, we played out in the yard and caught fireflies outside. It was also great to be able to bring our dog. Having a full kitchen allowed us to have a delicious and healthy breakfast before making the trip back home. Anytime we had questions, Stefanie was quick to reply. I would definitely recommend this place.

Everything about our stay was perfect, communication was friendly and fluid and Stefanie was accommodating and flexible with all of my silly questions. The house is FULLY equipped with everything and anything that you might need. The area is quite and beautiful, the kids has a blast is the back yard.... all round a perfect experience!!!

This place was great! We've been using Airbnb for a few years now, but had never been the first to review, so it made us a little nervous. Luckily for us Stefanie was a wonderful host. Before booking, we reached out to her for more information, we tend to find that the hosts that are easy to communicate with and provide lots of details are the most pleasant. Stefanie certainly didn't disappoint and quickly put us a ease. She provided tons of information about herself, the house, and stuff to do in the area. We didn't check in until the evening and were pleasantly surprised to see tons of fireflies all over the backyard. I've never seen anything like that before. The house had the ac going, was well furnished and had great finishing touches. We had no issues during our stay and loved that the house is dog friendly, with a huge backyard.
