We are close to Rathmines and the city centre (35 minutes walk). A bus into the city stops just around the corner and we are 10 minutes walk from the Cowper Luas. It is about 8 minutes to Stephen's Green or a short bus journey into city centre.

The space

This is a period redbrick house which we have been renovating over the last few years and which is part of a terrace of redbrick homes dating from 1905.
We fell in love with this lightfilled house with all its period features including the original fireplaces, cornicing, plasterwork and ceiling roses.

The downstairs consists of a large hall and two comfortable reception rooms.
The front reception room has two sofas and a club chair, a 55 inch smart television, a playstation, and a sonos sound system. We have a large and diverse DVD collection at your disposal. The back living room contains a sofa which can be pulled out to a double bed. The kitchen diner was recently extended and is extensively equipped.

Guest access

We have two double bedrooms available for your use. We may be able to make a third available with enough prior notice. On the first floor return there is a bathroom with cast iron bath and power shower. The art nouveau original fire place is the centre of this (URL HIDDEN) it is the utility room with a washing machine and dryer.

On the first floor there is a double bedroom with the original fireplace intact. A cot/crib is also available. This is a king size bed. There is plenty of storage for your clothes.

The second available bedroom contains a King size bed and also the original fire place and is an ensuite room with power shower.

Downstairs there is an toilet. There are two livings rooms with large double doors leading between them which can be opened or closed as you wish. The back living room also contains a king size pull out double bed and can be used as a self contained third bedroom if you wish.

A recently extended and renovated large kitchen dinner is at the use of the guests and it opens out into a landscaped garden with a generous patio and comfortable seating for six. It also contains a gas fired barbeque which you are free to use.

The front bedroom and study will not be available for guest use.

We will not be in the house during your stay but will be readily contactable by email or phone should you need any assistance.
