This beloved family cabin is close to The White Mountains of NH and the Green Mountains of VT and offers great views, hiking, fishing and swimming. A short drive away are all of the White Mtn. Attractions. You’ll love camp because of the beautiful lakeside atmosphere. Imagine waking up to the soulful cry of the loons! Have a cookout by the lake, or sit by the fire pit in the evenings. Good for couples, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Canoe, paddle boat, kayak available for use.

The space

The camp is literally just feet away from the lake. We have our own little swim beach. There is a dock you can sit on/walk on. Our boat is tied to it but you can still use the dock.

Guest access

The whole camp and yard plus lakefront.

Interaction with guests

I am just 1/2 hr away and can be reached if you need anything.

Other things to note

There is no internet and some cell phones don't come in. We have Verizon and can get cell service if we stand outside the front door. Nearby is the town of Lancaster and there are places with WiFi if you need a fix :-)

A beautiful, rustic Vermont camp! Pretty stone walls edge the waterfront with natural stone steps down into the water. The swimming area boasts a nice sandy, gravel bottom with no rocks or weeds, and a gradual drop-off. Water was chilly but MUCH warmer than ocean temps at NH beaches! The camp itself looks made from old, reclaimed barn wood. The logs and beams added much rustic charm, as did the many knick-knacks and comfy vintage furniture (LOVE the antique double hand-saw and the ice crampons!) The beds were freshly made and comfy with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The kitchen was well stocked as well with plenty of pots, pans and utensils. We spent a week and we're very comfortable and enjoyed our vacation immensely! It was also a great value!

Perfect place to rest, listen to loons and read. Spent one day hiking at Weeks State Park across the river in New Hampshire. Bugs were pretty voracious. The cabin is very well equipped for meal preparation and was warm and cozy.
