A centrally-located two bedroom apartment in Seville with a unique and arty décor, where tradition meets modernity and comfort meets design.
There are a thousand reasons why you should come to Seville. It could be for business, in which case you would choose a centrally located, well-connected property with all the trimmings. Perhaps you have been seduced by the magic of the city’s traditions, and would not for the world miss Easter week. Imagine the privilege of watching the processions from your very own balcony! Sevillanos love their balconies, and decorate them lavishly to share the view with family and friends. Perhaps you are attracted by the history and architecture of Seville, in which case you will be amazed by the changes that this vibrant city has undergone, both socially and architecturally, a city where avant-garde and tradition live side by side.
Seville is a city of many faces, proud of its past, bold in the present, and looking for a modern future with hungry eyes. Just like this stunning two-bedroom apartment located at the point where the classical and the new merge together, right next to the church of San Pedro and the modern Metropol Parasol.
This is a fabulous property, housed in a 20th century building, which has undergone extensive reforms to make the most of the space and maximise the light that streams in to reach all corners. The result is a truly contemporary interior, where all the architectural elements (columns, windows, walls...) play a central role in creating unique surroundings. This, together with sumptuous decorative elements, such as the marble floors and table tops, or the splendid woodwork and superb selection of designer furniture, conspires to make of this lavish apartment one of the most singular and attractive properties in our select portfolio. With charming arty additions: refurbished antique pieces; fascinating murals which draw your eyes irresistibly to the walls; contemporary sculptures and signature photographs. The overall effect is hypnotic, seductive in its simplicity.
The apartment has a large, open living room, with a sitting and TV area, a dining area, and an open kitchen. It has large windows and a balcony overlooking the calle Imagen, a busy shopping area in the centre of town which is one of the main procession routes during Easter week. So prepare to enjoy the processions from a privileged viewpoint. Location, location, location! Balconies are one of the most coveted assets for locals and tourists alike over Easter, if on the right spot...
The sitting area has a magnificent, yet simple, neo-Victorian sofa and four fibre chairs, decorated especially for the apartment; and an area with a large designer table, perfect as a working space, for enjoying a relaxing cup of coffee, or for hosting friends in style during Easter week. All set out next to the large French windows which occupy the whole front of the apartment, overlooking the church of San Pedro.
The dining area has a table and chairs for six, with traditional rattan chairs which provide a sharp contrast with the rest of the furniture, in metal and marble. The open kitchen is equipped with a continuous range of cupboards in simple, modern design, so that everything can be neatly put away but still be within easy reach. There is also a large cupboard with mirror doors, housing all the small electrical appliances and tableware, as well as clothes hangers, an umbrella holder and the electricity mains box. There is also a washing machine/drier and a cupboard for cleaning utensils.
The main bedroom is equipped with a double bed and en-suite bathroom, as well as a small reading area with a bench and cupboard. The second bedroom has twin beds, auxiliary furniture, a work desk and full bathroom.
Plaza de San Pedro is the place to be, at a crossroads between the districts of Santa Catalina, la Alfalfa, the historical centre, the modern Plaza de la Encarnación with its Metropol Parasol and the green Plaza del Cristo de Burgos, home to the largest banyan trees in the city. Just a short stroll away from the main points of tourist and cultural interest and with excellent bus and taxi connections, as well as a cycle lane. The area is lively and always busy, surrounded by bars, restaurants and shopping areas. And yet in Plaza de San Pedro you will find a haven of peace and quiet in which to stay and rest, right in the midst of Seville’s busy city centre.
The whole apartment is at your disposal with the apartment ready and prepared for your stay: the beds made, heating (or air conditioning) on and the fridge with water, milk, butter, bread, coffee and a few additional things in the fully equipped kitchen.

Our small agency was created by two people: Karin Wallis, half English and half Swedish has lived most of her life in Madrid and Nono de Barco, 100% Sevillano down to the marrow, has lived in Seville all of his life. We created the agency as we wish to do something different: take peoples charming homes and transform them into rentals, keeping the magic and charm the owners created when they built their home but at the same time making it comfortable and adequate for our clients such as giving them plenty of empty cupboard space, ensuring the only food in the fridge is the one of our welcome hamper and making sure everything is working correctly and is sparkling clean so that when you arrive, the property will feel like instant home to you too. There are no two properties alike, nor are there two guest exactly alike but we do trust we will have the right home for you.
