The farm house was built in pioneer times and our intention is to keep the flavour of simplicity that has been at the heart of the home since it's beginning. You will have the original old fashioned kitchen with updated counter top and sink, large living room and bathroom spaces with the possibility that there will be another guest to share with.

Interaction with guests

Our families have been farmers in the area since pioneer days. I am happy to help you discover the area!

Other things to note

Don't try to pass in the drive way, it's one way only! Wait at the end until it is clear. Welcome to farm life!
You can book an expressive art workshop, or perhaps there will be one on the go next door in the Stone House.
There may be an early tractor driving through the yard or dog barking but otherwise it's quiet.

If you are looking for a haven of comfort, peace, and beauty you will find it at Cheryl's place. Let yourself be treated to timeless hospitality and the fine touch of a gifted artist who sets things up lovingly so that you can feel at home. Whether you wish to enjoy your privacy or go for a walk together on the property and engage in conversation, Cheryl, her husband Richard, and Bella, a sweetheart of a German Shepherd feel like the best of neighbors. Are you a writer? An artist? Do you need some time away in the country to do yoga or meditation? Would you simply like to relax on the porch and listen to the sounds of the country while you read your favorite book? I am giving away to give my secret. I can't wait to coming back this summer and continue to enjoy a stay in each and every season thereafter.

Response from Cheryl:
Your beautiful review is a reflection of your beautiful selves who have eyes to see from that perspective. This farm, and no doubt, the world in general, is a better pace for having you graciously, appreciatively, and intentionally walk upon it.

Thanks very much! I enjoyed your interest in our community. Conversations of living in the same era but from different points of global view were fascinating. Happy travels! Cheryl

We're vegetable farmers since 1977, I am an artist. We love to be outdoors enjoying nature, walking, back packing and biking. We like to stay in one area and explore it slowly, looking for quiet, natural settings as much as possible.
