We had an incredible experience staying in this apartment! Not only was Katharina super kind and generous when greeting us with the keys, but the apartment itself also exceeded our expectations. It’s located on a main street in Friedrichshain which made transportation (by the U5 or M10) super easy and also meant we were within walking distance to various restaurants and stores. The newly renovated apartment has a balcony that extends across the entire apartment and overlooks the historically East German street. The only drawback is that the lack of AC (common in Berlin) made it a bit hot in the summer, so you’ll have to sleep with the windows open, meaning you’re hearing cars go by at all hours — but if you’re not bothered by that, or are willing to sleep with earplugs, it’s the ideal Berlin apartment!
