My place is tucked away in a cul-de-sac between Camps Bay & Bakoven. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed and the views. It's also very quiet and chill space. It's perfect for a female solo adventurer and/or business traveler. Your private bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and bathtub. Secure parking on the premises and the building is very secure. Wazoogle's morning smoothies are on the breakfast menu. Last but not least the apartment is located a stone's throw from the beach: 6min walk
The apartment block we are in only has 12 units so that really creates a lovely sense of community. The building is also located in a cul-de-sac and is therefore very very quiet. More often than not we only hear the wind howling from around the mountain.
You have access to your bedroom & ensuite bathroom. The kitchen, dining area and living rooms are shared spaces.
Interaction with guests
I am available for guests during your stay and I tend to give everyone quite a bit of independence while enjoying the space
Other things to note
I work from home and often tend to spend the afternoons working from home
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am
- Please ask before inviting friends over to visit
- Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment
- Cleanliness and tidiness are a must, especially in the communal areas of the apartment
- Female guests over the age of 25 only
I would definitely describe myself as a citizen of the world. I was born in Eastern Europe and raised in Canada; travelling shoes were strapped to my feet at a very young age. And so in my early twenties, I began my career in international feature films and travelled some more.
My biggest passion is to anti-travel. To experience the city as a local as much as possible....where ever I go. I aim to live in someone's shoes (room/home/city) and to develop a deeper understanding of how life can be for others. These experiences have left me feeling deeply gifted and grateful.
A decade went by before I stopped working in the film industry and noticed how naturally hosting came to me. So much so that I have started my own property hosting company here in Cape Town called 'Stay At Mine'. We welcome our guests like old friends that we have yet to meet but have lots to catch up on.
I look forward to meeting and hosting you in the Mother City.
