If you are looking for a conveniently located, very comfortable base within easy access of Edinburgh and the surrounding area then this is a wonderful place in which to stay. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, spacious, airy and bright; very well provisioned with all you need if you want to do a lot or a little meal preparation; completely private and set in a quiet area of town. The very short walk into town will take you to a wide variety of shops and eating places. However do not forget to explore Dunfermline's historic features such as the Abbey, the burial place of King Robert the Bruce; the (now ruined) Palace, the birth place of Charles I who was beheaded in 1649; and the many places associated with Andrew Carnegie. The local library has interesting exhibits and a very good cafe. The railway station is located about an 8 minutes' walk away and the journey into Edinburgh Waverley Station takes slightly over half an hour. Ronnie and Deborah and extremely pleasant and welcoming hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights' stay and have no hesitation in highly recommending this lovely house.

The description is as it says. Ronald and Deborah are great hosts, the apartment was very lovely, quiet and comfortable. It can get quite cold at night so make sure to keep the heaters on. Other than that, it was a very lovely experience. :)

Lovely place to stay with very friendly hosts. The house is very well equipped with everything you could need during your stay. Only takes a few minutes to walk to the station for the 30 minute journey into Edinburgh. Would definitely return and recommend to others.
