The space

Early Sedona Architect/Builder Howard Madole constructed this distinctively designed home from the architectural style of Frank Lloyd Wright. A gem of early Sedona homebuilding, "Casita Madole" is a comfortable and contemporary house, including an outdoor multi-purpose room that can be used as an office, bedroom, or quiet retreat.

The living /dining /kitchen areas boast an airy and sunlit design. Window shade cloth allows for views and light without compromising privacy. The kitchen has all the appliances and cookware you need to prepare, blend, bake or cook your favorite foods.

After hiking or a day exploring the sites, you will love coming home to the relaxing privacy of a large fenced yard with a covered porch. Imagine soaking in a 2-person hot tub, cooking on an outdoor grill, or just spreading your feet out on the lawn under rustling shade trees. There is even a secure location for outdoor equipment and bikes! The front yard has a beautiful view of both Thunder Mountain and Chimney Rock where you can enjoy a book, coffee or drinks from the porch or on the lawn.

Park your electric vehicle in the carport and charge up from the attached laundry room. Tesla cars invited here! Pets welcome here. They must be friendly and completely house trained. A pet fee of $80 is required with a two pet limit.

Whether you love picturesque hiking or mountain biking, a romantic escape, a family getaway or quiet contemplation, it’s the perfect place to stay!

Peter's place is a fantastic find. His perfect little backyard is an oasis of relaxation. Located next to the Sugarloaf trail head, you are less than a five minute walk from lovely hiking and bike trails. That doesn't even touch on how close you are to Cathedral and Bell rock, or downtown Sedona. There are some great restaurants right down the street, as well as grocery stores if you'd rather cook in.

So glad to hear how you, Laura, and Julie enjoyed staying at my property in Sedona! Thank you for your suggestion to me to highlight the backyard as a prime feature of the property. I know it's unique when you have a private yard with shade trees, a lawn and a covered patio where you book your AIRBNB. Loved your experience enjoying the rain relaxing in the yard. It was nice we had an opportunity to meet before you returned home. Thank you for staying!

Peter was a great host- friendly, accesible, responsive. The place was perfect for our needs - comfortable, clean, well supplied, aesthetic, well located. Having a place that welcomed the pooch made it even more special.

The house was as advertised. Quit, clean. Peter was attentive and more than helpful. I asked if he had a grill, and he went out a bought one. The backyard was beautiful and we utilised it often. Walking distance to some great hiking trails, and shops and restaurants. I couldn't be happier with my stay and look forward to staying again. If you're looking for a rental, stop here.

We had a really nice, relaxing stay. Everything was clean, worked; the sweet house is in a quiet neighbood in a good location. Even though the temperatures were over 100 degrees, the swamp cooler and living room fan kept the rooms comfortable. The hot tub was great in the morning and evening, too. We look forward to returning again. Thank you, Peter!

You can stop looking here. You found it! Peter's place is PERFECT. We were looking for a nice place with an enclosed back yard for hanging out with the kids in a quiet non-touristy area of Sedona close to the trails and here it is! Quiet, comfortable, beautiful, and less than two blocks to the Sugarloaf Mountain Trailhead. Only about a miles to grocery stores, drug stores and restaurants, on the main route in West Sedona. When I come back, this is where we will stay again, no question.
