Enjoy our quiet, central Austin neighborhood just minutes from the action! The home is two stories with a kitchen, living room, and laundry at your disposal. Your room has a fluffy queen size bed and it's own bathroom with a tub, located on the second floor. The color pallet is meant to relax. Street parking is abundant and free. There's also a bus that stops less than a block away to take you downtown if you choose not to rent a car (Texans like to drive though ;) ). All that's left for you to do is have a blast!
Please respect quiet hours between 10pm and 9am for the residents. This is our home that we love, please love on it also! 3

To My Guests:
Hello and Welcome!!
I'm a Texas native, living in multiple cities throughout my year. I bought this cute condo for myself in my hometown of Austin, TX so I'll always have a place to hang my hat when I'm home. When I'm not home, I enjoy the idea of providing an affordable place for people to live and stay. As rent skyrockets in our once sleepy town I keep one room available to an Austin local at a fair price. The other room, your room, if you choose to book with me, is an inexpensive comfortable nook for travelers to rest their heads in a new place. Travel is my number one passion in life and I hope that everyone gets to experience new people, places, and cultures. If I can be a part of facilitating this for someone else in some small way, I'm doing something right. The world would be a better place if people traveled more and experienced how others live. I'm a dog lover and a kid lover, a nature lover and a history lover. I believe in the power of people connecting for the greater good and Airbnb is but a cog in this hopeful machine. Must be feeling philosophical today! Best wishes :)
To My Hosts:
I've been traveling regularly for many years now and I've come up with all kinds of interesting solutions for places to sleep at night. Air bnb is a cool option when I'm trying to explore a city and popping a tent or sleeping in the back of my truck isn't an option. I've stayed with many friends, friends of friends, and even strangers over the years. I'm clean, quiet, respectful, and happy to help in any way. I'm honest and a good communicator. I have a service dog that sometimes travels with me. He's a big black bear, older, calm, quiet, incredibly well trained, and loves all other people, dogs, cats, and anything else. We've flown and road tripped all across this country, and even over the ocean together. In addition to dogs, I also love biking through cities, hiking, cooking, karaoke, and dancing. I do burlesque and pole these days, but have a history in pretty much all genres besides ballet, including, but not limited to, tap, jazz, contemporary, and musical theatre. I believe in the power of energy work and try to remember to meditate regularly. I'm a bohemian with a wandering soul, equipped with southern manners and friendliness learned in childhood. I have references I can point you toward if you need them.
From you, my host, all I need is respect. No homophobia, racism, ableism, or misogyny please. If you dislike gay people, brown people, disabled people, or women, please let me know before I book your space so I can stay somewhere else- I imagine we'd both be happier for it. If I'm traveling with my service dog, please like dogs. A clean bathroom goes a long way too :)
Thanks for reading and see ya some time!
