Alisa's home is beautiful inside, with a very relaxing atmosphere, and the bed is nice and comfortable. Her home manual answers any questions about how things work and is easy to flip through. We liked the location, which is quieter yet really close to great restaurants, coffee shops, and the best red rock--Bell Rock! Being at the southern part of Sedona (Village of Oak Creek) made our trips to Uptown or West Sedona fun because then you get to see beautiful scenic views each time you want to explore Sedona (about 5-7 miles north). Alisa herself is also easy to communicate with, via phone or email, and she shared some recommendations with us, which was helpful when picking out restaurants. We had the perfect vacation experience!

The owners artwork is all over the house. It's quite lovely, with many female busts. The house is very quiet and incredibly clean. We loved the well-stocked kitchen with spices, nice appliances and good wares. There was easy and clear communication with the host. She even left us a sweet welcome basket of useful items. We loved being able to walk to the village for easy access to restaurants and a great cafe. The only drawback is that the second bed in the couch was a little squeaky. Two queens (instead of the trundle) would have been ideal for us.

I recently stayed at Alisa's home during a personal visit to Sedona with my daughter in April, 2017. The home is in a very quiet subdivision that is close to restaurants, shopping and hiking. The home is very comfortable with beautiful art work / sculptures throughout. Alisa provided my daughter and I with recommendations for dining from casual pizza to breakfast one of a kind omelettes, unique southwest cuisine to Italian food and vegan options. All her recommendations were great!!! We loved our stay and plan to come back!!!

We totally enjoyed our six days at Alisa's home in Oak Creek Village. The house was easy to get to, and in a quiet neighborhood, which we preferred. Hiking trails, shops, and services were very close-by and easy to access. The house is well-equipped and has all the conveniences of home, with a front porch and back deck. The home is contemporary and showcases Alisa's sculpture and art. Alisa gave us great suggestions for restaurants and galleries, as well as hiking spots and scenic drives. Most of all, this place allowed us to really relax during our time there.

Alisa's place was impeccable and in a great location. There is a great restaurant and coffee shop in walking distance. It is about a 15 minute drive to the more 'touristy' area of Sedona but the ride is very easy and if you are like us, you don't want to stay in the busy touristy area.

I am a professional artist and psychotherapist from California. I am a sculptor andI love to carve marble in Italy. I speak Spanish and Italian, and love to travel to Europe, South America, and adventure destinations. I love art, theater, standard poodles, classical music, reading and meeting people from around the world.
I love to dance salsa and even a little tango. Want to join me?
I enjoy international cuisine, especially sushi and authentic Spanish food. I am considered the salad queen for my inventive salads, though I am told I am a very good cook, and let's face it, that is another aspect of this creative life.
I love foreign films the most, though I have to admit that some of my favorite films are still those by Nora Ephron (When Harry Met Sally) and Mel Brooks and Woody Allen. Great Comedy or complex memoires are a must. I will share a few of my favorite jokes with you....joke telling runs in the family for generations.
I love hosting guests from across the globe. Your stay will be fun and enlightening. Sometimes I even demonstrate how I carve in stone, and will give you a personal tour of the art. Often available for good conversation and am always interested in you and what you do.. I will point you in the right direction about what to see in this area.
