I loved my stay here, it saved me from really early wake up times as it was so close to borehamwood. The place is in mint condition and would recommend 100% to family and friends. I can only fault the glass door for privicy but other than that top hosts.

The bedroom is beautiful with a lot of space and is very clean. The value for this space was not great though. The bed is actually a futon and was incredibly uncomfortable. What would I pay for the most is a comfortable bed so I am actually upset that I paid this amount for that. There is a door that connects to the main house and has glass that can see right in. No privacy at all and at times we were scared they would look right in after showering. They also left lights on at night which kept our bedroom well lit. Also, please note that it was quite tight to walk through the front door as they have a large chest that blocks the pathway. The location isn't great. The buses that take you to the train station take too long so you might as well walk. Walking to the train station is about 25 mins. From there it takes about 30 mins to get into London or anywhere to sight see. This train is also very expensive and cost about 16 pounds per person, per day. The location just wasn't worth the cost. I could have been closer to the center for the same price. I would not book this Airbnb again.

Response from Annie:
We are disappointed to note that your stay was not as enjoyable as you hoped. As hosts, we have tried our best to be as accommodating as possible and at no point during your stay did you raise any complaint regarding the room especially when asked whether everything was alright on a number of occasions. We tried our utmost to ensure that your stay was as comfortable as possible especially accepting the very late check-in which was made on the day you arrived and the untidy mess that the room was left in upon your departure from the room. We are rather taken aback with the suggestion that you felt that we would want to 'look in' whilst you were showering as this is certainly something which is quite offensive/accusatory when we have welcomed you into our home as our guest. We would point out that the door between the house and the room has obscure glass which maintains privacy of everyone. As regards to the bed, we have not had any complaints about this with guests who have stayed before who have said quite the opposite to us after every stay. We do have another divan bed in the house which could have been swapped but there was unfortunately a lack of communication from your side if this was what you would have preferred. The location of our property is in suburban London with surrounding woodland and it was never suggested in our listing that it was very close to Central London. There are many cheaper ways into Central London including direct busses (£1.50/45 mins journey) which would have cost a fraction of what you seemed to have paid but again there was no communication from your side to ask for our assistance. The Airbnb experience being travellers as well as hosts in our experience hinges on the fact that both guests and hosts interact to help getting to know the surrounding area and city. We are dismayed that this opportunity was not taken as we would certainly likes to have helped you get to know London better. In future, we would hope that you will communicate with your host so that the stay can be as comfortable as possible for everyone. We wish you the very best for your future travels and have given you a positive review from our side to assist in your bookings with Airbnb.

I've stayed in a few airBnB's around the area recently, but this one well and truly blows the others out of the water! The attention to detail in terms of hospitality and cleanliness were obvious, and the whole stay was a delight. The host, Annie, was also extremely friendly and welcoming. Situated in a very quiet area, the newly finished garage conversion, with your own bathroom and entrance, is great for anyone looking for their own space with some peace and quite. I'd definitely recommend this room to anyone staying in the area!

The accommodation is brand new and really clean. The hosts are lovely and really accommodating. The house it about 1.5 miles out from mill hill Broadway station, so it is handy for the m1/a1 and heading into central London. For the price and handy location it is a recommendation
