Really loved staying here with my kids. So close to Adventure World, ice skating, food and the beach. Hospitality was amazing and felt so relaxed and at home. Would definately stay again. Thankyou Ian for all your kindness and looking after us so much.

Overall exceed expectations, I would rate Ian’s homestay a 6 stars B&B! The modern design, spacious and comfort living room, great view of botanic garden, friendly and helpful hosts and much more! For sure, I’ll be here again if I visit the lovely Perth again.

I stayed with Ian and Jessica for two weeks and I could not have found a better place! Ian and Jess love sharing their home with guests and they went above and beyond to make my stay the best possible. The size of the house makes it a perfect airbnb accommocation, the guest area is spacious and has its own fridge and library. There are many little details (like the guest manual, the bike you get to use, the cereal, biscuits and juice provided for guests, the night lights in the bed room and bath room etc) which show just how much the host truly cares. Ian was always there to answer my questions, he made breakfast, ensured the internet was working and provided many useful tipps throughout my stay. It felt like I was staying with friends, and it does not get any better! I thoroughly recommend this place!

I retired 4 years ago but Jessica, my wife, still works full-time in her own business, a travel agency. As all our offspring left home long ago, we are in an ideal situation to be Airbnb hosts. We love gardening and I spend a lot of time tending our beautiful garden. Jessica loves picking the roses! We both read a lot and guests are welcome to use the extensive collection of novels and history books in our library. Naturally with Jessica a travel agent, we also enjoy travel, cruising in particular, and have visited many corners of the world. Favourite destinations? Europe, UK, Singapore, New Zealand, Mauritius. Favourite cities, apart from our home city, Perth? Paris, London, Prague, Budapest, Amsterdam, Singapore, Cape Town and Auckland.
