Just a minute away from the old center, felt really well hosted and safe. I loved the privacy I had. Marco is very helpful, polite person and took always time to provide me with information I was needed. He is not only a very nice person to talk with but also very mature, always attentive, a person you can count on! Highly recommended :) ...and the people and the way of living is really amazing

Marco was the perfect host. His place is very nice, clean, spacious and has lots of privacy. He was a great communicator and he surprised us on the night we checked in with pizza and wine, which was perfect timing. Highly recommend this to anyone planning travels in this area.

Marco's guest house and garden is as lovely an experience as all the other reviewers have said. As busy as Marco is with his business, he always took the time to check in to make sure I was ok, explain transportation or suggest itineraries, or really anything I needed to know about. The garden here is wonderful, and one of my favorite things was Marco's walking me around it giving me samples - figs, grapes, arugula, basil, and one morning even left eggs outside the door for me from the family's chicken coop! The family dog will also come around and feel like your friend almost immediately. The huge table and covered patio outside (where the dog will surely greet you) is a super pleasant spot for internet, reading, etc. and, mixed with the occasional distant voices or remote music in the background from the neighborhood, lends a certain touch to the day Prices anywhere on the coast are high, and staying inland in the historical town of Gragnano was a total delight for me. The mountain air smells truly fresh, you get a feel for a real southern italian small town (no tourists in Gragnano that I came across and you won't find much English spoken) and yet it is really close to Sorrento and the coast once you figure out getting to the train in Castellammare. This airbnb for me is what the experience should be - tons of privacy for myself while still being connected to a charming host and a wonderful city. Also the ability to cook in a functioning kitchen, especially the fresh eggs! Loved it all, thank you Marco! *Also for a great meal, take Marco's recommendation and walk to Il Vigneto - this garden restaurant will stuff you with fresh and delicious food and pizza. The best bruschetta I ever had.

Not only is Marco's place amazing but so is Marco, he was incredibly friendly and accommodating and helped us out with some excellent recommendations! As for the house itself we couldn't have asked for more! It was very clean, you get the whole house to yourself, it's tucked away and very private with a separate gated entrance. On the property there is tons of fresh fruit growing everywhere that your allowed to pick and use as well as chickens that lay fresh eggs every day. There was almost no need to leave the property at all but if there is something you needed you could easily find it in the town square just down the hill. Overall it was a fantastic experience and maybe we'll be back again someday!

Awesome stay at Marco's. It's a guest house on his property - with privacy. The place was clean, and 10 minutes from Castellamarre Di Stabia which has a train station that goes from Napes to Sorrento - getting you anywhere in Italy you need. The town is friendly and really gives you an authentic Italian experience that tourist cities like Rome can't offer. Great people, great food, great scenes. Thanks Marco.

I cannot speak highly enough of Marco and the fine hospitality he provided during my stay in Gragnano. Marco was very responsive to messages and was extremely helpful when I ran into obstacle after obstacle during my travels from Sicily. His home is in a lovely gated community that is just steps away from public transportation that will bring you to the Amalfi coast, Positano, etc. The home is very clean and was well equipped with everything you may need. After being without AC for quite sometime, it was wonderful to have it work so well!! Thank you Marco for a wonderful time!
