Hello! We hope you'll enjoy a stay in our lovely Victorian-style State College home! We are very conveniently located to everything in Happy Valley. We are within walking distance to Happy Valley Brewing Co, Cafe Lemont, and Kamrai. Downtown State College, Penn State University and Beaver Stadium are each 2 miles away. Our home is tucked back in a quiet neighborhood with a private backyard. The home is full of natural light and has very minimal decor.

The space

Our home was built in 2003 but is modeled to look like the Victorian homes in Lemont during the late 1800's. We love the natural light and quiet neighborhood.

Guest access

You will have full access to the house except for the basement, garage and master bedroom closet.

Interaction with guests

We generally leave the area but are within a few hours away if an emergency occurs!

Other things to note

Our driveway can fit three cars, and there is an overflow lot within the development. Unfortunately, there is no street parking available.

Four generations of our family stayed in Hannah's home for the weekend, and it was the perfect venue for a family gathering! Everyone felt at home in this beautiful house, and we all slept well. The porch was perfect for afternoon tea with Grammy, and the view was beautiful. It was an easy drive to campus for my baby sister's graduation, and a lovely setting for family dinner to celebrate. Hannah was very communicative, and it was such a nice surprise to find a bottle of wine and eggs/bacon in the fridge to make breakfast! We would all be happy to stay here again in the future, if an occasion arose.

My adult womens softball team was in town for the state tournament which was held about 5 minutes away so Hannah's house was the perfect location for us to stay. The house is on a very quiet cul-de-sac with plenty of parking and a nice yard in the back and on the side on which we were able to set up some cornhole games. The first night we were there it rained for many hours and we were confined indoors, but there was plenty of room for all of us to sit around and play board games and conversate. The house had plenty of sleeping room for everyone, including an above the garage room and bath separate from the rest of the house which could be very peaceful if you had a need for seclusion. Hannah was very friendly and quick to communicate with - she even allowed us to stay a few extra hours last minute as our tournament went late into the day due to rain delays which we really really appreciated. We also appreciated the very nice welcome note and goodies left for us. We would love to stay again next time we are in town and have nothing but great things to say about our stay.

This house was a perfect location for our event at Penn State. It was a short drive to the stadium. In my party were 8 adults from 5 different families who didn't know each other 6 months earlier. We enjoyed both community and privacy, when needed. We cooked, cleaned, played games and stayed up late just talking. It truly was the perfect getaway home for us. The home is situated in a lovely neighborhood with a nearby walking trail. Hannah was wonderful. She was always in touch and available with any of my questions. This was my first AirBnB and Hannah was with me through the whole process. We felt at home right from the start. You will love it!!
