We loved our stay at Elizabeth's place! It was a short Lyft ride into downtown if we were in a hurry, and a lovely walk when we had time. The place was cozy and convenient with a real sense of history and charm. Elizabeth did a great job communicating all of the check-in details with us and quickly responding if we had any questions.

Perfect place to stay in Asheville. This private apartment is located in the most beautiful neighborhood of historic Montford. Elizabeth made it easy to check in, left great instructions, and advice for what to do in the area. The apartment was extremely clean, quiet, spacious, and had a little deck outside. The apartment is very close to downtown, UNC and the greenway. Restaurants and coffee shops are nearby. I highly recommend this place for a perfect stay in Asheville.

I had wanted to stay where I could hear the birds chirping outside in the morning and that was cozy. This apartment was nice in the summer in that we could sleep with the windows open and could indeed hear the birds in the morning. The apartment is located beneath the main house of the host/hostess with a deck extending outside of the entrance where you can sit outside. The apartment is furnished with art and antiques. You can walk to downtown, which we did, and there are many great restaurants around. Elizabeth is a great host and present if there is anything you need during your stay. She also struck me as very thoughtful, leaving water, juice, and tea for guests to use in the apartment.

There is much more space than appears in the photos. The front sitting room/kitchenette has multiple windows so that it's light and airy during the day. The apartment is walking distance to several restaurants, near a park, and near the botanical gardens. Elizabeth is a fantastic host. She is welcoming, and responded to my inquiries quickly and checked in to make sure I had everything I needed during my stay. Would stay here again!

We stayed here with out toddler for two nights. Elizabeth is a wonderful host and gave us a tour of the house when we arrived and said the goodbyes when we checked out. The house is historic and filled with antiques and is a pleasure to be in. The location is great, a walk away from the botanical garden and close to downtown. Parking is easy, plenty of space on the street or even pull up on the drive way next to the house. The house has a quiet old world charm. Just be mindful that there is no tv, however we are not tv watchers anyway and did not have an issue with it. One thing which we did have an issue with was that there was no air conditioning though it was not quiet clear when we read the listing for the house initially. This can become a problem in the hot summer days. Also, the house had a damp and musty smell after a day with slight overnight showers.
