Long Island Barn is oak framed with a large, light studio room, comprising a king size bed, sofabed, a travel cot and a day bed. Set in the garden of the owners home, it has beautiful views over the Cotswold countryside. Situated on the edge of the village with pubs nearby and a village shop within walking distance. There are plenty of footpaths for walks. The market towns of Stow, Winchcombe and the pretty village of Bourton-on-the-Water are within a short drive.

The space
The space is light and airy with a balcony with wonderful views. Chairs and a table are there for you to enjoy the scenery from the balcony, perhaps with a glass of wine or alfresco dining! The shower in the bathroom has a large overhead showerhead with a separate attachment.
The king size bed is very comfortable with a memory foam top. The kitchen is fully equipped.
Cheltenham race course is a 20 minute drive away, for those who enjoy racing!
Since the photographs have been taken we have added a day bed. This is 1.9m long and 1m wide so Ideal to use as a single bed. The sofa can turn into a sofabed.
If there are 2 of you and you want to use separate beds please book as if there are 3 of you and let us know if you want to use the sofa bed or day bed.

I live in Gloucestershire in England, I am married with 2 children. I love to travel to see different places around the world when I'm not hosting for Airbnb. This year, (2018) we have visited the Peloponnese in Greece, to see the ancient ruins and beautiful countryside. We have been to Spain too and spent some time in Madrid, which was wonderful and in the hills around Seville. I love to cook for friends and family and I love to create something special for them! My favourite music is Green Grass Jazz, Rock and Roll and Country. I really love hosting, meeting people who then become friends from all over the world and getting to know them. I enjoy making their time staying with us special, they are on holiday after all! Five things I can't live without? Too many things! but the most important are...Family and Friends, my animals, food, music and my home. My most favourite book is Chocolat by Joanne Harris, she is a brilliant writer and from the first page, you are gripped. Also I love the author Victoria Hislop. I have read all her books, the most favourite was Cartes Postales which was all about the Peloponnese and it makes you want to go there and travel around, which we did! Mostly women writers but I also find Simon Sebag Montefiore's books fascinating especially those on Russia. Style of Travelling? We do DIY!, travelling by train and tuk tuk most recently in Sri Lanka. We do our own itinery!
