We had a lovely stay. All was as expected and then some. Comfy bed, nice and clean place to stay and some food and snacks and drinks to tide us over. We can really recommend staying here. Erwin & Šárka

We had fantastic few days here, loved the barn and the location and would really like to return one day. The extra touches really make a difference, the bedding and soft towels, the lovely bathroom products and the welcome breakfast that Jane provides, the attention to detail is what makes this place special.

On the first night we struggled a bit to sleep as there was no noise, we mean literally, NO noise!. What a beautiful place to stay, everything you needed downstairs to store and prepare meals and then WOW, you walk up the stairs to a massive room, so comfortable and cosy but modern and stylish as well. The bathroom was also impressive. Thanks to Jane for allowing us to experience the property.

The barn is just beautiful inside and Jane has equipped it with everything you will need to make for a relaxing, comfortable stay. As in previous reviews, we found the furniture and fittings to be of the highest quality. The upstairs room is light and spacious and the bed is just pure bliss - so comfortable. The bathroom is also lovely and Jane has provided some lovely spa-quality toiletries which was a really nice added touch. The location is tucked away up a country lane but not too far away from civilisation and a nice country pub is within easy walking distance. The coast is about 40 minutes' drive away and the National Trust's Killerton Estate is also close by and well worth a visit. All in all a brilliant place to stay and highly recommended. I will definitely be returning to this beautiful part of the world.

Jane's converted barn is a high quality and charming place to stay, me and my girlfriend had a lovely 3 night stay as part of our summer break to Devon. The property had everything we needed and was adequately equipped for cooking with space outside to eat and chill. The sleeping and living space was an extremely pleasant place to be and we thoroughly enjoyed our down-time here. Jane was friendly and responsive by message - although we didn't meet in person. If you're looking for somewhere beautiful and quiet to say then this is the perfect property.

Fantastic barn conversion, furnished to a very high standard and immaculately clean. A peaceful secluded location in a lovely Devon village. Location perfect for exploring the South Devon coast, Dartmoor and nearby National Trust properties. Ideal for couples. Jane very helpful and easy to contact. Thoroughly recommended.

There is something very calming about living in Devon . . . the green rolling fields . . . the timeless rural space . . . the crisp blue summer skies? Oh . . . and not to mention the low level cloud, endless orange mud and the sometimes relentless rain!

But Devon offers clean fresh air and constantly changing landscapes - I hope you enjoy your stay with us as much as we enjoy living here.

I work at the University of Exeter . . . have 4 children, 1 dog, 1 pony and 6 henand love growing herbs.
