Large, detached family home very close to the beach in North Swanage. Spacious reception rooms, and bedrooms, with plenty of bathrooms. Two wood burning stoves, an Aga, and plenty of off-street parking.
You will find lots of space here. Most rooms are generous and light, with high ceilings. We are slowly renovating the house and currently there is a mixture of freshly decorated rooms, and rooms that are on the decorating hit-list.
A large front room with bow window, television, wood-burning stove, and plenty of seating with two sofas, and an arm chair.
Similar size to the living room with bow window, wood burning stove, large table with chairs, and additional sofa.
Large kitchen with Aga, fridge, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, butler sink, essential kitchen utensils, plus cutlery, glasses, cups, dishes etc.
An additional gas cooker available if the Aga isn't your thing! Another sink, washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board etc.
Annexe bedroom and en-suite shower (Ground floor):
Lots of space with own entrance, en-suite shower-room, wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk and chair, king-size bed, TV, and sofa.
First floor bedrooms:
Two double bedrooms (one en-suite), both king-size beds, with wardrobes, and chest of drawers.
One twin room with wardrobe, and chest of drawers.
One small single room with chest of drawers.
On the first floor there is a small family bathroom with shower, bath, sink, and toilet. There is an additional single toilet next door.
Top Floor Family Bathroom:
Absolutely huge family bathroom, large shower enclosure, free-standing bath, and all the other bits you would expect.
Top floor bedroom:
Finally, another king-size double-room with chest of drawers.
We currently live here with our two small children, there are some child safety features like child locks on cupboards containing cleaning products, but the Aga is hot all of the time, and not all furniture is tethered to the walls, so as usual please ensure the children are supervised at all times.
You will have the run of the entire house with the exception of the back bedroom on the top floor. We will keep this door locked as it is used for personal storage.
Interaction with guests
As you will be using our entire house , we will be living elsewhere during your stay. I will be available on the phone for any issues you may have, and we will try to sort out any problems as soon as possible.

I live in Swanage with my family; Sophie, Rory and Alex. I travel a lot with my job in Outside Broadcast, and have found some great places and hosts with Airbnb. When we bought our house in 2014, there was room to let a space ourselves, so as soon as it was possible, we have made our private en-suite room by the sea available to you! From Summer 2017 we are going to let our entire house; look out!
