Gated, safe neighborhood, great location, monkeys at Mt.Park, 0.5 km from Hankyu train (cheapest in Osaka to Kobe, Kyoto & Osaka) in Minoh, North Osaka. Some call this area like Beverly Hills but our house is on a humble "dirt" road so not quite the case, but we are great for YWAM teams in the friendliest area in Japan. The kitchen, dining room, and bathroom are shared along with the common space. Men and women have different housing facilities. Lockers are available. PS:75%0ff base for YWAMers.
For YWAM teams, volunteering at several organization in this area is an option as well as with English preschools and conversation schools . Observe school work in small groups, split up into a few people at a time each day at different places and recieve special training if desired as well. For extra large groups, a separate guys facility is a 5 minute walk away from this ladies facility. There are 3 rooms here plus a kitchen and dining room. Common areas like the horigotasu room can be shared durring the day plus there is a yard for a BBQs and/or hanging laundry. Please contact us before booking more than a quarter of your time if you are all part of a YWAM team or certified DTS graduates, upon which a 75% discount is applicable if you contact us first and book here online the first quarter portion of your stay. The 75% off of the base price is a fairly generous offer here because we understand the purpose of your stay in Japan and we welcome your presence. DOZO YOROSHIKU!!!
The space or places you will be able to access depends on how big the teams are, how much floor space is needed, how clean you are in picking up, and who will be helping with other chores. We have quite a few places and many projects or events going on all the time in different parts of the country and we welcome your support if you choose to come to Japan! We will have fun in Minoh, Osaka, Kyoto and hopefully even Myoko if you get out that far, plus you will find it a rewarding experience.
Interaction with guests
We can help you create special events for your teams but we may need plenty advance notice or cooperation as to what everyones wants or expects to gain in thier time here in Japan. A lot of free events and services are also provided by the city, if you would like to receive FREE Japanese language learning and Kanji classes for example.
Other things to note
There should be a contract and a damage deposit but this is not alwasy necessary depending on the purpose of each team. Large teams with younger people who can handle sleeping bags for example may fare much better with our set up than an older crowd who would rather camp in luxury. This is just an example or stereotype, but it is not always the case as most who come through here almost always feel very rewarded and taken care of.
Large groups of teams are welcom here in the Osaka area until you make it to Myoko or to our other larger facilities. Large teams who dont mind splitting up when necessary and using futons, we promise to do our best.
