Based half way up the Tomb of the Kings Avenue, the complex is directly behind a Lidl supermarket. It's walkable to many restaurants and bars, and very close to the Tomb of the Kings archeological site.
If coming by car, you will need the code to raise the security barrier each time, by dialling the code on your mobile phone.
The accommodation is on the right side of the complex, and it's worth parking under the building out of the sun.
The accommodation was of a good and clean standard, with a balcony overlooking the rear of the complex, with a sea view.
There are two air conditioner units that work on a 2 hour cycle. One in the bedroom and one in the lounge. There are also ceiling fans, which we found to be just as effective to use.
The kitchen was small but useable, with a decent sized fridge. The hob is halogen.
The bathroom is of a decent size with shower and bath. You'll need to turn on the hot water with the timer in the wall.
The pool was fantastic large, and always clean and warm. You'll have to use the 2 sun beds found in the bedroom to take down to the pool, as all the sun beds down there are assigned to other apartments.
Finally, you'll have to pay extra for the electricity used during your stay. The host will take a photo of the electricity meter at the beginning and end of your stay. 2 of us staying, only using ceiling fans, charging phones, using the oven/hob a few times and hot water, cost €25 for the 10 days. We budgeted for cash payment at the end of the holiday.
Darina is a very nice and pleasant host, who made sure we were happy.
