Our house offers stunning sea views of Scotland, Belfast Lough, Bangor, Donaghadee, the Copelands. Located in the seaside town of Whitehead, a great base for travelling to world heritage site Giants Causeway, Carrickarede, Game of Thrones locations.

This space offers you a chance for somewhere quiet and relaxing, somewhere to drift off whilst enjoying the amazing sea views of Belfast Lough across to Scotland. There's a guest lounge with big comfy leather sofa to fall asleep on after a great day's activity. Outside there's a selection of sitting areas with tables and chairs. There's free WIFI, TV, DVDs, books, board games, and hybrid bikes all on offer. TV channels are freeview only.
There's no light pollution so great for stargazing on a clear night.
You're welcome to share the dining area with large dining table and sea views across to Donaghadee. I'm often parked there with a laptop or sketch pad.
There's a large private parking area that can accommodate 3 cars and even a campervan/trailer with boat/kayaks/bikes. Boot room at the back for you to throw outdoor kit/wet gear etc. If you bring bikes they can be stored securely in the garage. Tea and coffee available on help yourself basis so feel free to work away in the kitchen. There's a great mini market within walking distance if you want to buy food to make packed lunches or an evening meal.
Interaction with guests
There is usually someone here and I'm happy to give you a guided tour. Lots of leaflets on places to see and how to get there. Packed lunches can be provided at a small charge, let me know in advance.
My interests include running up to half marathon distance, cycling, horse riding and walking with our dog. If you're into any of these activities I'm happy to buddy up with you if I'm free or at least show you the best routes from here. Nearby Islandmagee hosts an annual Triathlon, this year on 1st July. I'm a member of the local sailing club CAYC and can introduce you to other dinghy sailors or kayakers. I can also arrange horse riding lessons at Islandmagee Riding School for all levels. Lessons are £28 per hour.

I love going for long walks with our Springer Spaniel along the coast where I live. I run with a local running club and take part in 10 k and 21 k races. Other interests include going to the cinema, reading and cooking. My best holiday was a recent trip to see my in Western Australia - it is such a fabulous place and you can be outdoors all the time. I like meeting new people from different places and finding out about their cultures and maybe even visit them in their country!
